@seekjustice Things are okay. I’ve been sick the past week, but am mostly better now, with just sniffles and a cough. I had fun today because my brother took me and my sisters to the mall for a Labor Day sale shopping trip. (That’s just an American holiday, right?)
How about you? Did you have a good time on your trip? (I think I may have talked to you since you returned, but I haven’t been on much lately, and I don’t remember. 😉 )

We have Labour Day here, but it’s not till October, and people only like it because it’s a long weekend 😛 We certainly don’t have special sales, as it seems you do in American.
Yes I did have a really good time! No, we haven’t really talked since then 😀

@seekjustice I see. 🙂 Actually, the stores here have sales every chance they get. Labor day, Memorial Day, Easter, Valentine’s Day…if it’s a holiday, there’s a sale, and if there’s not a holiday for a long time, make up a reason for a sale. 😛 But of course, there are some specific sale times like right after Christmas and on Black Friday. (Ever heard of Black Friday? It’s kind of scary.)
Are you working on anything right now? I think last time I checked in you were outlining for book three.

Maybe we’re just less excited about sales? We tend to have sales at Valentines, Australia Day, Easter, Christmas and Boxing Day (otherwise known as the sale in which people literally die).
Though I’ve heard about Black Friday and that doesn’t sound like a walk in the park either.
I gave up on that. Instead I’m working on rewriting the second book and plotting a book for NaNoWriMo.

@seekjustice It sounds like your Boxing Day is pretty similar to Black Friday. 😛 I have actually never been out on Black Friday, so I don’t personally know what it’s like, but I’ve heard lots of stories… 😉

I’m still muddling through Daughter of Judas, and groaning because the research is going horribly.

Yeah, they’ve got special laws in place now, because shops were selling things super cheaply (think 90% off sorta things) and people were actually getting crushed and killed.
That’s just…bad.
Nope, this is an attempt at writing a historical/fantasy sort of thing.
I am planning a contemporary short story/novella though, for a competition.

@rochellaine @ariel-ashira I’m here for a little bit. A short story thing popped up today and the deadline is the 10th. (I don’t have to do it, but the deadline was extended, so I’m thinking of a story idea to fit.)
I was sick for a few days. That’s why I was gone. 🙁
