@rochellaine, it wasn’t my first choice, but God wouldn’t let it leave my head.
Wow, for some odd reason I though you had just started. I think I am officially losing my mind.
well, I only wrote it a couple weeks ago so that is part of the reason it still fits. I honestly only just came up with the villain that everyone can fear and hate a few weeks ago, so I never know what is going to happen.
its quite short right now. I need to lengthen it but I want to be sure that it is on the right track first.
“If I were to join you…what would I have to do? How is joining you any different from becoming one of them?” Jycin asked, running his hands through his hair.
“The priests are hated because of their cruelty. If you were to come with me you would have to devote yourself to the cause that was created to put an end to that very cruelty.” Delmira moved across the room until she stood in from of Jycin. “As to what we would have you do, that would be between you and Mikeal. He is the one that gives us our orders. Not,” She said, holding up her hand to silence Jycin, “not that we have to follow them if we disagree. But he is the one in charge. He is the one who has lost the most.”

WIP - Decisions
Kapeefer til we're old and greyAugust 23, 2018 at 11:50 pm #76322@alia Ah, I see. 🙂
Well, I would guess that’s probably because I’m only nineteen, so most people would assume I was in my first or second year. I started college a bit younger than the average age, I think. 😉
Part of what I like so much about Daughter of Judas is that my “antagonists” are the Christians, so that’s a big twist on the average New Testament setting story. (I can’t call them villains, because, you can’t have Christians be villains, but for the time being they are acting antagonistic.) I don’t have a single, specific antagonist, though. (At least at the moment. 😉 )
Okay, so my comments: It’s pretty good. One thing I don’t quite like is the part where she sort of says “we don’t have to obey the leader if we don’t want to.” I understand what she’s trying to say, that if the leader asks them to do something against their beliefs they aren’t required to go against their conscience. However, you might want to clarify that, because there is no room for leadership if the followers only follow the leader when they “feel like it.” Does that make sense?
Oh, goodnight, then. I guess you’ll see my comments tomorrow. 🙂

August 24, 2018 at 4:38 pm #76326@rochellaine Have you been working on Daughter of Judas?! I think about it all the time, which probably sounds weird because its not even my story! 😉
@alia You like killing your favorites? I recently discovered that I am going to have to kill some of my favorite MC’s, and its really heartbreaking to think about. For me, anyway. 🙁"In a mask, was he?"

August 24, 2018 at 7:34 pm #76335Currently I’m working on my morning green tea 😛 but once I’ve finished that I’ll probably get to work on my blog post, since I’ve left it to today to write it. Then I’ll see what time I have after that. I’m gonna be here for a while.
By the way do you or @rochellaine have any good contemporary writing prompts? I’m looking to write a few contemporary stories but its not my usual genre so I’m a bit stuck for ideas.
