But I am giving my little Bathshua quite a bit of trouble, am I not? I would certainly never let her die, though. A dead father who betrayed everyone, a life of persecution, a broken arm, and a loss of faith are enough for anyone to go through, don’t you think?

Yes, of course. 😉 I already had several people read it, and I just wanted a quick perspective on how the opening was going and what types of things I might need to change before I got too far into the book. So I’ve got that, and can write again. And by the time you’re ready, I should have more written for you to read! 😀
I don’t think I’ll have much trouble meeting the deadline, seeing as I’ve already nearly finished reading the second draft… 😛
