                @jess-penrose Well, I just sent an email confirming the schedule of a book signing event at a bookstore… *quakes in nervousness*

                Now I’ll be getting back to writing, and attempt to finally rescue my character Uncle Bill. (He’s been stuck fallen off a cliff for at least two weeks! 😮 )

                Do you know who my favorite impulsive character is?  Peter, from the Bible.  He’s such a funny “ready, go, set” or “leap before you look” kind of guy! 😛  Do you like him?

                  @rochellaine Oooh that’s exciting!

                  Oh dear! Poor old Uncle Bill. Help the poor fellow. Don’t want him to leave the old bloke hanging–well, not actually hanging anymore… but still!

                  Yeah he really is! I like him a bit because I can relate, even though a lot of the time I wish I couldn’t. But yeah. He’s really great.

                      @jess-penrose Do you think that storybook time feels the same as real time?  Because in the book Uncle Bill has only been over the cliff for three or four hours.  Does he know that he’s really been stuck there for two weeks, or does he just sleep in unknowing blackness whenever I stop writing?  Okay, after reading what I just wrote I think I’m going to go see my psychiatrist. 😛

                      You are the second person to call Uncle Bill a bloke.  (the other was @seekjustice ) I told her he would probably be a little startled by it. 😀

                        @rochellaine And I am back.

                        Hmm.. well, my characters tend to complain when I do that, so yeah. I guess so.

                        Haha, well, y’know. We’re Aussies mate.

                          @jess-penrose I actually disappeared right after you did, and am now just back myself. 😉

                          My brother said his opinion is that since Uncle Bill is a figment of my imagination and therefore is a part of me, he knows what I know, so he knows that he’s been there two weeks.  But, my brother also said that since I control my imagination, Uncle Bill only knows what I want him to know, and therefore if I want him to be spared the pain of two weeks over the cliff he will only remember being there for three hours, like he is in the book.

                          What do you think of my brother’s logic? 😀

                            @rochellaine Haha, okay!

                            His logic is great, but he is lacking in experience. I’ve suffered greatly from characters refusing to talk to me because I’ve done horrible things to them, or if I’ve left them in a bad spot. *remembers Flynn* Oh dear. Speaking of which… I should check on this poor character. He may still be falling off a building…

                              @jess-penrose Haha! 😀  Poor Flynn, and poor Uncle Bill.  We’d better get our rescue forces working for both of them!

                              Hm.  I hope Uncle Bill will talk to me!  I’m presently having trouble with his niece, though, since she is the main character but instead of helping me tell the story she just keeps getting woozy and almost fainting.  Everything goes so slowly when a character faints, because all the other characters have to take care of them and nothing else gets done!  Oh Chara, get a hold of yourself, won’t you?!  If I can just get her to behave, I’m sure taking care of Uncle Bill won’t be very hard in comparison.

                                @rochellaine Yes well, Flynn is from another WIP, so I won’t be able to rescue him for a bit…

                                Egh. Fun when characters are like that. I have one at the moment who is a regular fainter. Not his fault, just unfortunate side effect of dimensional leaping. *pats poor Connor*

                                Good luck with Chara!
