      @jenwriter17 Cool.  Out of the old TV shows I’ve seen only Bonanza, Cheyenne, and a little bit of The Virginian.  I prefer western movies, though I like other genres of shows.  Have you seen any old westerns?

      Okay, I would definitely recommend Zane Grey.  He is the best western author I’ve ever read.  His books are pretty gritty, since they’re about the real west and not some fantasized version, but also pretty clean, since they were written from about 1900-1940, back when people had morals. 😀  You can get them free on kindle or read them online at gutenberg.org, but since he’s one of the greatest American western authors, (Louis L’Amour is the other one, but I’ve not read his books,) you can probably pretty easily find hard copies.  I’ve got probably seven or eight actual books by him, and have read a whole bunch online.  Other than Grey, William MacLeod Raine is amazing, and B.M.Bower is very good.  Their books are in the public domain, so you can read them online or on kindle.  I don’t know how easy or hard it would be to find hard copies of them, since I’ve never tried. 🙂

      Sure!  I’ll take the giveaway link. 🙂  Thanks!

                @jenwriter17 Haha. 😛  You’ve never seen any western movies either?  I love western movies!

                Oh, I just realized I told you a whole bunch of authors, but not specific books that I liked.  So you’ll have to sort through hundreds of books unless I give you a starting point! 😀

                So…Zane Grey: Light of the Western Stars; B.M. Bower: Starr of the Desert; William MacLeod Raine: A Man Four-Square

                There, that’s one for each.  Let me know if you like them!

                Okay, bye! See you later.

                Hi, @warrenluther04 We were talking about westerns, but since Jen is gone, I guess we’re done, unless you happen to like westerns… 🙂

                  Hey-lo. @rochellaine . Well, I’ve seen The RiflemanThe Wild Wild West, Wanted: Dead or Alive, a little bit of Bonanza, The Magnificent Seven (THE ORIGINAL: NOT THE NEW ONE), and other random Westerns. Oh, and Chisum. (My family likes John Wayne movies. 😀 )

                    @warrenluther04
                    I think my brother watched both the old and new The Magnificent Seven with some friends. Was the old one a good one? I’ve seen Chisum too, but I didn’t really like it. Maybe it was cuz I was sitting in an uncomfortable chair in the hospital at the time.

                        @jenwriter17 Heeeellllllllooooooooo! 😀

                        The old one was good, and better than the new one according to my dad. I haven’t seen the full Chisum yet, though. I liked the beginning though.

                        That might have done it. Why were you in the hospital? *concerned yip*

                          @warrenluther04 I can’t stand John Wayne.  He’s this great big American icon, but I think his morals were terrible in most of his movies. I’ve only seen a few of his movies, and I always hated his character, though I sometimes ended up liking the movies okay because of the supporting cast.

                          I prefer the squeaky clean cowboys such as Gene Autry and Roy Rogers, but I can do more realistic cowboy movies too, as long as they act like nice moral guys who try to overcome their faults, like Gary Cooper or Dale Robertson, rather than embracing their faults and reveling in them like John Wayne seems to do.

                          Sorry for the rant. 😀 I just really don’t like Wayne at all.

                            @rochellaine Well, I guess not everyone can have the same opinions. After all, if we were all the same like the citizens of Camazotz (A Wrinkle in Time), life would be exceptionally boring! 🙂

                            Roy Rogers is good too. 🙂

                            No problem! 🙂

                              @warrenluther04 My brother had just had surgery because of a fistula (lemme know if you need that explained cuz a lot of people don’t know what that is)

                                  @warrenluther04 yeah that was in 2016, he’s doing great now 🙂 Google definition of fistula: an abnormal or surgically made passage between a hollow or tubular organ and the body surface, or between two hollow or tubular organs. yeah, so that’s what it is
