      Hi y’all! So I should be finishing my draft soon! Imma do my own thing with a lot of my stuff, just go with the flow lol. But I am thinking of going ahead and start working on book 2 also.

      That being said, does anyone have any advice on how to write things u don’t know about lol. I mean, obviously research but how do u even incorporate that?

      So what I’m dealing with in this next book is like a group of shapeshifters (wolf shapeshifters) so there’s gonna be a kingdom, with rulers and an army, fighting, and living outside and such and I’m just not sure how to begin.

      I know I’m probs gonna wing it and give myself room in the first draft like usual. U ever have where u can see the story or pieces of it in ur mind and it looks incredible, like books u would read from a famous author? Thats me lol, but actually getting it down is rough.

      but I’m gonna work hard and I’ll get there!!

        @godlyfantasy12 Hey, congratulations!

        Research…I usually Google, but sometimes it gets a bit tricky. Wikipedia is usually helpful, but then there are specific things I want…Like one time I wanted to find out what life is like in Chinese high schools but then I realised I would have to Google everything in Chinese to reach that side of the internet… But also asking people is helpful too! Like my dad is a huge history nerd, so I ask him about history-related things as well as other useful tidbits (“Hey dad, would I die if I had my arm chopped off at the shoulder?” “….yes.” “Thanks dad!”) Mm yeah, that’s all I can give you on research. If you’re not sure just be really, really vague about it.

        Eyy, your next book sounds awesome! Good luck on it!

        Ah, yes, winging things. How I do everything. Lol, yes, sometimes I see that too…

        Good luck! I know you’ll get there!

                        @writerlexi1216 Doing homework instead…also I feel really tired…not sure why. But I hope to catch up on the weekend.

                        I did finish drafting Like Cherry Blossoms in the Spring, My Tears Fell Freely That Day so I think I’ll get around to editing and rewriting some bits soon. And then I’ll hand it to my sister to roast, and then I’ll post here for some beta-readers, I think! It’s short.

                          @writerlexi1216

                          I’ll have to confess that I haven’t done much writing today. At least not traditional noveling. I have actually been working on a graphic novel outline of The Snow Warrior or at least trying to. I thought it might help my project to have some visual grounds to work with. So I’m mostly jotting down random scenes (mostly the fun plot-twisting ones that my readers will hate me for XD ).
                          That and since I don’t have my camera to transfer Caira, Deek, and Newton’s to the forum yet, I’ve been adding illustrations to my Fortitude Collection:)

                            Oh, yikes! I still have some homework to get to… *sigh* Hey, that’s awesome, girl!! Congrats!! (Oh my gosh, that title is so interesting!) Haha, I’m glad you’ve made some progress. And I’m more than happy to beta-read for you when the time comes, if you’d like 🙂

                              @Abigail-m

                              Oh, that’s okay!! Sometimes your head needs a break from writing; I’m sure you’ll have tons of new ideas the next time you get to writing 🙂 Oh, seriously? That’s amazing!!! I agree–making your novel visual helps a lot, which is why I’ve made so many collages. *eyes widen* Plot twists?? That sounds suspenseful 😉 Good luck!

                              Oh my goodness, really??!! That’s so cool!! Thank you for doing so many drawings!! That just makes me beyond happy that you like my writing 😀 Oh, don’t worry about the camera thing, take your time (though I am excited to see your artwork of them! )

                                @writerlexi1216 Ah…I have so many ideas now, but I just don’t know what to do with my life anymore…just gotta recover a bit, I think. (Haha, thank you! My mom saw it when I was just starting it and she asked, “Why do you always write such sad things?” and then walked away.)

                                Oh, I’d love to have you as a beta-reader! I’ll tag you!

                                  I sure hope I’ll have some ideas next writing session:) But yes, outlining scenes visually helps give me different perspectives and it’s really fun:)
