This is so annoying. XD I was going through some old Google docs and found fragments of fanfics that are fabulously fun to read, but they’re so short. Just when stuff gets going I got distracted and never came back to finish them. Sentences are literally left undone. I am now hunting through way too much randomness to find out if I ever wrote that scene idea with the telepathic military linguist that brings her new best friend along to the family Thanksgiving dinner and never bothers to tell them he’s actually a body guard because she’s in the witness protection compliments of narrowly escaping death by road mine.
I think it might have been destroyed. I may never know if I fleshed out that argument about the best mac n’ cheese or not.
This is sadness.

Good vs evil, magic system, ultimately sacrifice of the main character (That ends up cheating death), redemption arc, relatable characters that make mistakes, complete and epic win by good in the end. . . It’s amazing how it check all “our” boxes for a good story. Isn’t it interesting that we like those aspects in a story (for some reason 🤷♂️)? 😁
