For some reason he was starting to get the feeling that he wasn’t going to like this boy. But he’d try a few more minutes. Not liking people was no fun. It wasn’t right to get in fistfights with boys you didn’t like or tease the ones you hated. That was all poor sport and not very honorable. You only did that sort of thing with your friends.
“What exactly does your family do? I have not heard of you before.”
The question jolted Wolfgang from his uncharacteristic moment of thought. He laughed again, open and friendly as before. “Never heard of us? The Von Heinz name is known in every social club of Germany and a lot of Switzerland as well! You must not do much in Europe, or study its history for that matter.” He shrugged good naturedly. “My father is away most of the time, my brother reads often and likes to ride horseback.” He refrained from detailing why Reinhard didn’t lead a more active life. It wasn’t that he was ashamed of it… it just didn’t seem like the sort of thing he should tell someone like Jasper. “I do as I please… except for when they catch me and make me study— which I do like to do, though I don’t tell them that.” He added with a wink. “Someday Reinhard will take Papa’s place I suppose, so I don’t know what I shall do! Enjoy living I guess.” He grinned at Jasper.
And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who couldn't hear the music
Hi again to all the peoples! I have a character that needs some personality development (I think), but I wanted to ask if I could add him first because he’s not royalty… at all XD. He’s from a modern day dystopian-ish story that I’ve been working on occasionally lol.

I have a character in here who is technically not a prince in his original story, but I changed his backstory slightly so he can be a prince for this, so you can do that if you want. Or you could add your character as a servant or staff member or the school. OR he could be impersonating a prince for some reason. Whatever works for you :]Any paint can be finger paint if you don't care enough
Oh okay! Nice! Those are good ideas. I think I’ll go with the one where he disguises as a prince, since I could maybe make that work with his character.

Here’s some stuff about my character, as well as the reason I’ve made (in approximately two seconds) for him to be at this academy-
His name is Bryce Callan Sullivan. He works as a student/agent in a society and he works to recover lost legal files, information about certain institutions and other stuff like that. He can attend the academy (disguised as a prince) to determine whether or not the school is a threat to his society.
I honestly don’t know how or why the academy would be a threat to the people in his world but… idk 😂
Bryce is about 5’10 with a wiry figure. He’s got freckles and brown hair and brown eyes. He’s a type 1 diabetic, and he’s commonly seen snacking on Rice Krispies whenever he’s experiencing low sugar. I guess he’s dressed in princely clothes, whatever that may entail. Preferably the color blue or gray.

This Bryce fellow sounds interesting. Go ahead and throw him in somewhere and we’ll see who’s available/in his way to interact with. Most everyone is at the school gymnasium for morning exercise (or croquet [or conniving]) so that’s where I’d head.
My character, Ari, is currently training with a fighting instructor inside the Gymnasium (he’s rather unfriendly though, so I don’t know that Bryce wants to meet him first). Lucian, Ellis, and Moth are inside as well (I think?) fencing while Lucian watches and exists as his introvert self. Remington, Jasper, Wilhelm, and Wolfgang are in the gym courtyard (where outdoor stuff like jousting and pell sword practice goes on) in the middle of a… discussion.
A cup of tea is cheaper than therapy.
My character Lois is the only one not at the gym. He’s wandering around the school looking for his giant clockwork robot that has gone missing. There’s also descriptions of the school in previous role play entries.

Ellis and Moth tested each other for a minute or so. Neither boy knew the other’s style yet, so while they both attempted to attack, it was more of an effort to understand each other than win the bout.
Ellis had a confident, yet thoughtful way of wielding his sword. He had clearly practiced the same movements many times, but knew enough not to give away exactly what he was doing.
The energy rose. There was an unspoken urge to push the duel further.
Moth dashed back and forth on light feet. He tucked his wings together against his furred back, and his antennae drifted as he moved, like silk strands floating and curling in the air.
His brow furrowed more as each moment ticked past, but his eyes glimmered in silent excitement. He sped up, enough to lead the dangerous dance.

That sounds really interesting, honestly! That’s a fun way of integrating him into the setting. And he has a lot of info to collect, because the concept of this rp is that all our WIP worlds are countries within this AU, and all these young men are future country leaders or lords.
If you would like, I can repost the original intro to the roleplay so you get an idea of what this place is like. (Much of the first few pages are not relevant to the current roleplay, so just looking at the first page won’t do you any good.)

Erp. This is long and rambling. Sorry it doesn’t seem to go anywhere… He is up for sparring, should others desire, but he is unlikely to interrupt the conversation.

He bowed his slightly when Wolfgang released his sleeve. His friend was certainly taking the “make possible contacts” part of their plan more zealously than Wilhelm had ever intended. He moved to form a triangle in the group and nodded when Jasper addressed him.
But he did not respond. Wilhelm let the conversation run back to Wolfgang. For one, it was easier. There was no need to stand in that flood. For two, he finally had a chance to study Jasper without needing to engage in a polite mask beyond a vaguely attentive smile. Focusing his gaze on Wolfgang freed up all his peripheral vision for Jasper.
Taking another stab at this, am I? The same prickling of competition tingled in Wilhelm’s blood. His deep green eyes flicked to Jasper and back again to Wolfgang.
“They will not understand your title, sirrah. In most countries, a warrior knight is beneath royalty.” Artur Kemp’s voice echoed behind Wolfgang’s list of hobbies. “Beware. You are a servant but not one of theirs.”
“Someday Reinhard will take Papa’s place I suppose, so I don’t know what I shall do! Enjoy living I guess.”
Wilhelm pressed his eyes shut for a moment, balancing his own thoughts with Wolfgang’s. A laugh bubbled inside him, although it stayed there where no one else would hear it. What would it be like to not know what you would do with your life? The where and the when were enough questions in themselves.
“Ah, yes.” Jasper spoke with an easy cadence, warm and authoritive. “I perfectly understand …. I tell my little sisters that their only responsibility is to enjoy… limits of our summer mansion grounds… never left it. Why did you want to come here?”
That made Wilhelm pause. His focus centered completely on one person again. Not Wolfgang.
