yes it is!
too bad. I’d hoped Wolf would have a chance to stick up for little guys and punchy the fellow. XD
Can we interact now? Or shall he go after Ari?
also, this is interesting……

That would be brave of him. Remi would be very upset if he did that, however

You can interact with anyone you want!

Remember the importance of what we’re doing. Few for the many. Remember what that means to you.”

His eyes narrowed slightly. For some reason, this Jasper fellow was making him think of the way Ekhard talked to Reinhard. He brushed the thoughts aside, grabbed Wilhelm’s arm, and yanked him forward. “Let’s go.” He dodged around two boys and planted himself squarely in front of Jasper, dropping his hold on Wilhelm in order to bow politely and offer his hand. “Herr Jasper, I don’t believe we’ve met. I am prince Wolfgang Von Heinz… the 1st,” he added with a wink.

In the space of a few seconds, the Kemp boy was already in Jasper’s path. Good.
“Ah, if only I could claim the title of first. I’ll always be the fourth with my name,” Jasper sighed with an obvious hint of humor. “I am Jasper, son of the High Commandant.”
He smiled at Wolfgang and glanced at Wilhelm with recognition in his eyes. “Wilhelm Kemp. Returned to have another stab at this. I see you two have made contacts with each other, at the very least. I have not met you before, Von… Do I refer to you as Von Heinz, or just Heinz?”

His laugh was warm and guileless. “Von Heinz of course. Didn’t you know? No matter,” he added cheerily. “What shall I call you? Herr Commandantson?”

Wow, I step off to read a book and people start talking. XD
Ari
Jasper hadn’t drawn Remington far enough away for an Eldar’s ears to not mark their exchange. Not that he’d understood more than a phrase at a time.
Not that he listened.
Of course, if Remington’s hushed exchange had been inexcusably loud, the blond embodiment of impertenance from breakfast ought to have taken up work as a harrald. Ari let his eyes slide closed. Perhaps that would dull his other senses.
Still, the way Jasper always acted as if he was the director of a great pantomime, his every whim acted out on a stage of his creation…it was exhausting.
Yes, don’t bother with the Verenion. He never was good at following directions.
A throat cleared beside him. Ari glanced up, then slightly down to find the steady brown face of the combat instructor. Oh, the school had several. Sir Drimel was the only one that Ari cared to listen to.
Probably because the man only spoke when necessary. And because the man still had an edge on him in skill. Probably.
Ari raised a brow. The man nodded once, then turned to walk towards the sparing mats. Without so much as a last glare at the ostentatious prince behind him, Ari followed his instructor.

“If that is how you address people, of course you may. What exactly does your family do? I have not heard of you before.”

August 15, 2026 at 11:08 pm #213381You know, looking at their respective charts, Lucian and Ari might actually get along pretty well if standing at the edge of the same room and watching people can be termed getting along. That or they’d quietly distrust each other. XD
Also, your drawings of Lucian and Ellis are adorable.

August 16, 2026 at 2:13 am #213383@koshka I’ve been thinking the same thing XD I was trying to think of a way to make Lucian approach Ari earlier, but I was drawing a blank. He’s just too introverted.
Also, your drawings of Lucian and Ellis are adorable.
That is not my intention, but thank you

As Ellis and the Moth Prince dueled, Lucian stood to the side and watched. There wasn’t much else to do. He didn’t intend to train and he had a bit of time before his next scheduled class. As he watched, arms crossed, a playful voice out of the air spoke to him.
“Why don’t you go over there and join the fun?”
Lucian glanced towards the voice, though he already knew he would see nothing.
“You followed me all the way to the school?” He muttered, hoping no one could see him taking to the air.
A chuckle tickled his ear. “A royal academy packed full of adolescent lordlings pushed to their limits by politics and hormones and the weight of the world?” The voice danced on a breeze and switched to the other side of him, then whispered in his other ear, “It just seemed too fun to pass up.”
Lucian didn’t respond. He watched the Moth Prince as he flitted to the side to avoid one of Ellis’ attacks. Lucian nodded slightly to him.
“You don’t… look like that, do you?”
The voice scoffed at the question. Of course not.
“He’s a fairy prince,” Lucian continued.
“He may be, but I do not bow to him,” the voice responded, full of disdain. “The fair folk aren’t meant to be ruled, especially not by a scruffy little sprite such as that.”
“Hm.”
“You didn’t answer my question.”
“What?”
“Why stand in the corner while your brother has all the fun?”
Again, Lucian didn’t respond. His brow furrowed and he began to chew his bottom lip. The voice seemed to hold back a laugh.
“I’ll see you around, Stormwatcher.”
The presence vanished, leaving Lucian alone once again.
