If you would like, I can repost the original intro to the roleplay so you get an idea of what this place is like. (Much of the first few pages are not relevant to the current roleplay, so just looking at the first page won’t do you any good.)

Ooooh yes please. I think that would help a bit. I try to go back and find descriptions on my own, but somehow I just confuse myself.

Alright! I’ll try to write something in a bit and just throw him in somewhere lol! I’m thinking Bryce will probably be somewhere in the gymnasium too, where most of the other characters are.

Here is the intro, with just a few small edits!

~.~.~ Royal Academy RP: New Intro ~.~.~

With the many glowing windows of a bustling manor, and the softly veined pillars and floors of a palace, the Royal Boys Academy seems to want nothing. Its double doors are carved with fantastic creatures, sometimes touched by the vines that grow from either side of the great entrance. As carriages arrive with new royals, the wind catches the forest encircling the school grounds, and the branches claw against the bronze spires.

The Royal Boys Academy has been a study haven for young royals since its establishment, two hundred years ago. The castle holds secrets about the students themselves, and many young princes discover keys to their individual stories, hidden in the secret passageways of the castle.

Headmaster Howell is a shapeshifter, a king who can disguise himself amongst the princes and give them wise counsel. He can even transform to look like your friend. The only way to identify him is to look for a ring on his hand – a ring with a multicolored, deep-set jewel. Beware the headmaster if you choose mischief. He’s everywhere…

Young royals arrive all the time. They have to be registered. After that, the boy takes on the title of “Prince” regardless of actual status, and they are presented with their personal living quarters. The residential area takes up a major part of the second story, with halls connecting them all and gold-adorned name plates on the doors. A boy’s room is personalized before their arrival.

The academy is a home away from home. The princes don’t necessarily go to class together. Instead, each prince learns at his own pace, and studies what is important for his station in life. It’s a very comfortable place. For example, if a prince needs to know more about his country’s culture and systems, he might ask for a tutor or simply pick up books at the library and do the work for himself. (There are classes and clubs for some things, though.) Many boys learn fencing, combat, magic, or personal interests. There are no tests. The boys are simply encouraged to grow, and if they choose to lounge around, no one stops them.

Some of these countries are on the brink of war or reimagining. This is where princes will decide what kind of king they will be.

          Additional things to know about:

          – There is a large dining hall inside where the boys eat meals.

          – The gym is located in a separate building behind the school. Think Victorian era gym with some medieval elements and way more accommodating.

          – As the others said, most of the boys are in the gym right now, but you are free to write about any part of the school and let your character wander freely. There are characters in the school, they’re just more like side characters than main characters – except for Lois.

            Bryce

The gym was the average place, only it was full of sweaty royal teenagers. Bryce’s face twisted.

Which of these boys was he supposed to approach first? Or which instructor? There couldn’t possibly be anything important here.

His eyes darted around as he tried to take in everything. Nothing stood out, other than fights that seemed too wild to be friendly.

Bryce briskly went past them all, coming into the courtyard. That didn’t appear to have anything helpful either. He frowned, then took a small, black earpiece out of his pocket. Bryce shoved it in his ear, listening as the robot-assistant greeted him with artificial happiness.

“Hello, Agent Sullivan!” it said, yelling loudly into his ear. Bryce flinched and shoved his finger against a button on the small earpiece, turning the robot voice down. “What can I help with?”

Bryce glanced around, assuring no one was too close to hear him talk to what appeared to be nothing. “Do you have anymore information about this mission?” he asked the robot, keeping his voice below a mumble. “Get to the H.O.M.E society’s computer systems and see what else you can find out.”

A minute later, the voice replied in his ear, “Hm, unfortunately I cannot do that, Agent Sullivan. But is there anything else I can help with?”

“No,” Bryce grumbled, then said more to himself than the robot, “No one gives me any details on where to start…”

“I’m sorry to hear that,” the robot said. “Maybe you can start with talking to people! Making friends is-”

“Shut up, I’m not seven!” Bryce hissed, and the robot voice abruptly cut off.

Bryce let out a silent sigh, and he narrowed his eyes, peering around again as if something interesting might appear. He walked over to a section where he found long, blunted weapons and practice dummies. Bryce picked up the sword and held onto the hilt in a way that lacked all elegance. He had only heard of a sword, but the H.O.M.E society never allowed him to see someone fight using one.

Bryce looked around, seeing the way some of the other princes used the weapon. He didn’t think he could swing the blade with poise if he tried ten thousand times. Backing away from the dummy, Bryce decided to take another route. He lifted the sword above his head and threw it forcefully. The blade sliced across the dummy’s head, then pathetically fell to the ground.

“Agent Sullivan,” the robot began, “A sword is not typically a ranged weapon. Would you like a crash course on-”

“No!” Bryce whispered, “I didn’t even ask you!” He was surprised by how the robot voice could somehow see what he was doing. That was new to him. And, Bryce was almost insulted that the robot was inclined to comment on just how bad his sword skills were.

Since everyone is from the same world, and everyone else is accustomed to a less than modern tech level, we must assume Bryce is from a superdeveloped country or something similar. The only other person who knows what robots are is Lois, and he only knows steampunk tech. Bryce basically just walked into another time. This could get funny really quickly.

Oh yeah XDXD I guess he somehow just lives in this one country that’s really greedy and won’t share their secrets to modern technology with anyone else lol!! I agree that this could become really funny. Hehehe.

                    Wolfgang

He grimaced ever so slightly, but a moment later his smile was back. “I didn’t want to come. my father sent me.” For once, he didn’t want to talk any more on a subject. Something that rarely happened to Wolfgang. “Why did you want to come?”
