      Rebecca Iryna Barnes (15)

the daughter of Wanda and Bucky Barnes

Unlike all the other Avenger kids, Rebecca just moved to New York, before that she had lived in Sokovia where her parents did relief work. She was top of her class yet she wasn’t exactly popular and her friend situation was lacking.

Now her parents moved back so she could have a normal teen life, well as normal as life can be when you’re an Avengers’ child. Her parents and her are now living with Yelena and Pietro and their two kids who are twins, Alex and Lilly, who are only a year older than her.

Alex is much like his Dad and can be a bit of a pain where as Lilly is a bit more quiet, over all she enjoys them. but everything else is still adjustment.

the only thing she’s not complaining (not that she’s one to complain a lot) about is meeting Jack Wilson.

Lilly isn’t as quick wit but she can be amusing and is one for ranting. She can be very expressive with her facial features, much like her parents. And she holds confidence even though she’s pretty insecure

        Sounds good so far!

Jackson shows a level of respect for everyone and is usually the most behaved of the group. He does his best to keep Jamie in line, mostly because he would hate for her to get hurt, ever.

He can be sarcastic when wanting but will also encourage any of his friends when needed. He is not one to use his fists but will if necessary, he’s also very patriotic and loves history.

This reminds me slightly of my older brother. He’s very protective of me, and is the least insane and annoying of the trio of us…except when it comes to intimidating and large space monster and ships…ooh, and cool tech.

@freedomwriter76 Beauty and the Beast….but a Marvel retelling? Count me in!!!!

I used to love doing those with random Star Wars characters.

Ooh, and I actually think Bucky could be some kinda beast…..But not too animalistic. I could draw some ideas if you’d like.

                          @smiley aww that picture though

@freedomwiter76 I was never super girly, but I also didn’t think I’d like superheroes either…..till I was into Jurassic World, noticed that the main actor from that movie also played a Marvel character, asked my dad what his powers were, and since dad didn’t have a clear answer he just showed me the opening clip of Guardians of the Galaxy, music and everything.

I was hooked. Took me a little longer to warm up to the Avengers and all that (specifically Thor and Loki, long story there lol) but when my dad showed me Thor Ragnarok–this time, the whole movie, not just a piece–it solidified me as a fan.

                                @freedomwriter76 I know, it’s so funny lol

how are my fanfics coming along? Lots of ideas, not a lot of them on paper, but whatever. Most of what I’ve done pertaining to fanfics are drawing the characters involved, but hey…that counts, right?

I’m currently brainstorming covers for a prequel story.

so I know what you guys are all thinking, I wonder what fanfiction Miley has been writing for two weeks… well let me answer it for you

for the third time in a row, I’m rewriting the wonderful Wanda and Pietro AU XD Okay but this time is going to last

Hannah is still going to be in it, but not until later, and overall be prepared for some angst LOL and guys!!! Oh my word these two twins are making me cry

but Clint!! Y’all there’s a deleted scene from hawkeye that shows him as a kid and he has easily become on of my favorites

so let’s not waste time and let me show you the first two chapters

                                  Chapter 1

Pietro couldn’t open his eyes no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t even manage to listen too closely to the conversation he was hearing. He heard voices, one sounded like his sister, but it was faint and he could hardly make it out.

“I’m so tired. It’s, it’s just like this wave washing over me, again and again. It knocks me down, and when I try to stand up, it just comes for me again. And I… It’s just gonna drown me.” The words managed to break through, and he knew for certain it was his sister.

He wanted to hug his sister and tell her it wasn’t all that bad, but truthfully he didn’t know what she was talking about.

“-But what is grief, if not love persevering?” Pietro had clearly missed part of the conversation, cause he only heard that last bit.

Who just said that?! And why does it sound like that annoying robot?!

Now Pietro wanted to wake up more than anything, how dare someone try to make a move on his sister while she was clearly vulnerable.

He was the one to comfort Wanda when she was upset, not some android!

Pietro tried to peek at least one eye open, wanting to see if they were holding hands or kissing or something. Cause if they were, that robot wouldn’t know what hit him. Wanda had him, he didn’t need some smooth robot.

Pietro failed to look, and after a few seconds, he gave in and fell back asleep or something, cause when he woke up he heard another voice, but it wasn’t Vision.

“I brought food and a coffee,” It sounded like the old man, huh, guess he had decided to show, to wherever Pietro was at the moment.

“Thank you,” Now that voice was his sister’s.

Pietro took a few deep breaths and then decided to try and look again.

                                  ~*~

Wanda took a sip of the coffee, it was bitter and thick, not very good, yet she drank it. She needed the energy, it was the only thing keeping her sane.

“I’ve been talking to Helen, she says sometimes after a difficult surgery the patient never wakes… up, and that it’s sometimes best uh to…” Wanda stopped herself and looked at Clint with her tear-stained eyes.

“No, we’re not making that decision,” Clint stated with a stern and clear voice.

“It’s nice that it’s a “we”,” Wanda said with a small smile crossing the corner of her lips. “I’m not sure I could handle this on my own,”

“He’s going to wake up,” Clint gave a forced smile and Wanda knew he was doubting it himself.

“Clint… things changed, nothing lasts forever and things move on, I want to keep my brother more than anything but I’ve learned that my life is full of many goodbyes.” Wanda grabbed Pietro’s hand, the thought of having the doctor… terrified her, and it brought such pain that it felt like someone had just stabbed her.

Clint set a hand on her shoulder, and she flinched for a second but allowed it. She sort of liked it too, she needed comfort right now.

“You know when you need to go, but I love you,” Wanda whispered in Pietro’s ear, her lips began to quiver and she was holding back sobs.

Wanda knew she had been living in a maddening depression since Sokovia, it was amazing any of the Avengers could manage to be around her. They probably blamed her, she knew she deserved all of this, but her brother didn’t.

Maybe Pietro knew she could handle life without him, but she sure didn’t, she needed him, she would always need him.

Time stood still, and no one or anything dare made a move. Wanda was seconds away from her powers spiraling again.

Wanda’s hand that was interlocked with Pietro’s felt pressure, and Wanda looked down to see it move ever so slightly.

Hope built up in her, though she refused to admit it.

That’s when she saw his eyes try to open, it looked like quite the struggle, and despite wanting to talk to him so badly she knew he needed to rest. “Go to sleep, we’ll talk in a little bit.” Wanda couldn’t even begin to say how thankful she was to be able to tell her brother that.

She took a lying position next to him on the large bed, feeling his presence. She knew Clint would watch the door and make sure they were safe, and she couldn’t even begin to say how thankful she was for that.

Growing up in the orphanage and on the streets, the twins had learned how to take turns sleeping so one could keep watch, so it made Wanda feel warm inside knowing someone else was watching for her.

She couldn’t even begin to thank Vision, Steve, and especially Clint for how good they had been to her through this last week.

“You focus on getting rest too,” Clint said like he could read her mind, she hadn’t slept this whole time.

She gave Clint a smile that showed just how thankful she was like all the tears had melted and she could finally be happy.

                                  ~*~

Bloodstain eyes, dark circles under the eyes, and worn features from crying had made Wanda look double her age, but now that she was smiling it all started to fade away, it reminded Clint of how young they were, Tony had found their records and apparently they were only seventeen.

That was too young he thought, too young to go through what they had been through, it was too young for Wanda to have experienced the kind of grief she had. Then again Clint had been through a lot at a young age, which was why he promised he would never do that to his kids.

Yet here were two kids, they didn’t have parents to make that kind of promise, and they didn’t have adults in their lives that cared about their well-being.

The door crept open and Clint was beyond happy to see who it was, his wife, Laura. She walked in and glanced at the twins who were both asleep.

“Did he…?” She asked with hope in her eyes. Clint nodded.

Laura had told Clint her fears of the Avengers not having his back, so there was obviously a bit of surprise when one of the hoodlums he had told her about had sacrificed himself for him. Yet it was a very grim surprise, knowing the chances that Pietro wouldn’t recover, and it only got worse when they learned the twins’ ages.

Laura put a blanket over Wanda, brushing her brown hair out of her face and kissing her forehead lightly. “She must be beyond happy.”

“You couldn’t even begin to imagine,”

“And what about you? You must be happy too,” Laura stated, looking at Pietro, Clint knew she wasn’t pleased with how thin they both were, especially Pietro. Laura had basically gasped when she first saw them, thin and pale, Wanda looked a little bit better but Pietro was still the same.

“As pleased as I can be, I just wish it wasn’t just the two of them.”

Laura looked at him, her hazel eyes set on his. “It doesn’t have to be,”

“We both agreed no more projects.”

Laure laughed. “We both knew that wasn’t going to happen.” Laura walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder. “Besides, this would be our project, and one worth doing.”

Clint looked at the two, despite how happy she was, Wanda still had a few stains on her face from where she had been crying. Pietro had a smug look on his face, and Clint looked away and at Laura with a smile. “Only if they agree, so what do you say kid?”

Pietro opened his eyes for a second and then closed them shut again. “I’m sorry what were you guys talking about?” He was too tired to really pull off that lie.

“Oh so now he has the energy to be funny,”

“I was funnier than you even when I was in a coma.”

“Maybe in looks,” Laure slapped Clint’s arm for that one.

“So what do you think about coming to stay with us for at least a few weeks? It could be a good place to rest.” Laura asked, getting them back on the subject.

“Have you talked to my sister about it?”

“Well since she’s nice enough not to eavesdrop, no I have not,” Clint responded.

Pietro laughed and then laughed some more, and some more. He then tapped his sister on the shoulder. “They think you don’t eavesdrop,”

“Well thanks for giving me away,” Clint couldn’t hide his shock as Wanda got up and hit Pietro with a pillow, lightly though, probably scared she would hurt him.

Laura smiled at Pietro. “It was nice meeting you, Pietro, and I’m glad you’re awake.” and then walked over and gave Clint a kiss. She turned to leave but then gave one last look at the two. “Take all the time you guys need to think about It.”

Clint knew he saw a smile come across the twins’ faces for a split second. And that was something he was thankful to see.

                                  Chapter 2

From the moment Pietro woke up he was filled in on the details. He had been shot, that part he remembered, he almost died, but somehow they managed to keep him alive long enough to get him to Helen Cho where she used the cradle on him and healed him.

He also figured out that the conversation he was hearing was in this room that was in the Avengers compund, where Wanda had waited by his side wide awake for days.

But it was the realization that Wanda had been talking about him, that killed Pietro. To hear the way she described her grief over losing him… and he had just kept telling himself that he was always there to comfort her. He had no idea that he wasn’t there.

“She was learning how to live with only half of herself.” Clint had said upon Pietro asking.

Wanda had only left Pietro’s side to get him water or a smoothie (since he was on a liquid diet), not even to get herself food. So Clint would go and get her something as soon as she came back, but between the two of them and the rest of the Avengers, Pietro’s room was never empty.

Today Pietro was sitting in the room with Clint while Wanda was getting him a milkshake, even though he told her it was unnecessary.

“She just wants to be there for you,” Clint said, knowing that Pietro was getting fed up with the constant attention and worry from Wanda.

                                  “I don’t need that, I’m good.”

                                  “But she wasn’t,”

Pietro looked at Clint, he could really only imagine what Wanda must have been feeling. And even that was too difficult to think about, he needed Wanda, probably even more than she needed him, actually a lot more. “Thanks,” Pietro mumbled under his breath, knowing Clint could barely hear it.

                                  Clint raised an eyebrow.

“For taking care of her, I never want to leave her. Not like that.” Pietro was glad that if he had been gone at least the Avengers would’ve looked after her, he needed that relief.

But a pain stung at him as he wondered if it had been the opposite and Wanda had risked her life would they have done the same for him? Technically he had never actually been called an Avenger, and he hadn’t gotten the nice speech from Clint either.

A knock sounded at the door before anything more could be said. Pietro knew it wasn’t his sister cause she didn’t knock.

                                  “Come in,”

The door opened and Steve stepped in.

“Just came to see how our patient is doing,” Steve stated, taking a seat beside his bed.

“Good, I’m looking better than the old man, which isn’t very hard.” Clint shot a glare at him, but Pietro looked at Steve. “Helen says I can get out of here tomorrow, a jailbreak as they call it.”

“Correction, she said you could start walking around tomorrow.” Wanda corrected as she entered the room, handing a strawberry milkshake to Pietro.

                                  “Same deal,”

“And this is my signal to get Wanda something to eat,” Clint got up to leave, but Wanda gave him a look.

“That’s not necessary, I’m fine really.”

“Sorry eating is something we do here in America,” Clint argued, to which Wanda replied by crossing her arms. Clint ignored her and left the room.

“You know you can do other things than just sit here all day.” Pietro reminded as Wanda took Clint’s seat. “I’m not walking till tomorrow, or should I say running.”

“You shouldn’t, and I have nothing better to do, I don’t even have any training until when?” Wanda turned her gaze to Steve.

“That’s up to you, we don’t think it’s a healthy idea for you to start going on missions when you’re not even an adult. And staying at Barton’s farm is still an option.”

“We’re basically adults anyways, and the Bartons just feel the pressure to invite us.” Pietro commented.

“Look I’m always honest, and the Bartons definitely have a lot on their plate with two kids and a third on the way, but I know they want you there.”

Pietro let out a small laugh. “I’ve heard that before.”

“Pietro!” Wanda scolded, though she had to know he was right. Growing up lots of orphanages and teachers would say things like that, but he and Wanda both knew they were lying. He always preferred the people who called it as they saw it, the ones who called them worthless orphans, trash, or mistakes.

Steve sighed, and Pietro knew he was about to hear a lecture. “I understand you don’t trust people, but the Bartons are good people. If you go they’ll treat you like family, you just have to decide if that’s something you want.”

Wanda glanced at Pietro, he knew she had always wanted a family, and truthfully he had too, but there was a terrible feeling inside of him that he would only mess it up. Besides he wasn’t in the business for family, that option had left a long time ago.

Wanda deserved it, but he didn’t, she was likable and brave, powerful but humble, was pretty and nice, but he on the other hand was none of those things, he knew he was annoying, he knew he was cocky, but more than that he knew he was a mess up, a mistake.

“Thank you,” Wanda said, as Steve exited the room, just as Clint came back.

“I brought pizza,” Wanda watched as Clint set a pizza box on the end table, it smelled delicious and put Pietro’s milkshake to shame.

                                  Stupid liquid diet!

“So me and Wanda reached a decision,” Pietro announced, making Wanda looked up at him.“I think we’ll take you guys up on that offer.”

                                  Wanda stayed expressionless.

“But only Wanda, I feel that it will be easier for my physical therapy if I do it here, you know with all of that fancy Stark tech and everything.”

Wanda didn’t say anything, but Pietro knew she was fuming.

“Okay, it’s your decision,” Clint stated casually, which only made Wanda more mad.
Pietro had expected more of an argument from him.

After a few minutes of long painful silence, Clint looked at Wanda. “I forgot to get plates, can you run to the kitchen and get some?”

Clint was never one to have Wanda run an errand that he could do, so Pietro knew he was about to get another lecture.

Wanda didn’t even argue or anything, all the want to not leave him was gone and she seemed happy to get out of there and away from Pietro.

“How stupid are you?” The lecture came as soon as Wanda closed the door. “You and Wanda have never slept in different rooms-” That wasn’t true, they had been in different cells at Hydra, but besides that no they hadn’t. “Then you almost die, and now you think she’ll be willing to move to another state without you?”

“I’m doing this for her, you idiot.” Pietro snapped back.“Do you know how many people hated my sister because of me? I was the one who always came along and messed things up for her. I love her with everything I have but I know sometimes I’m not what she needs.”

The room went silent, and Clint just looked at Pietro.

                                  ~*~

Clint just looked at Pietro, in complete disbelief, he wondered how there could possibly be another him out there.

Clint had hardly been easy when he had joined Shield, and if it hadn’t been for Phil and Nick he would’ve never been the father and husband he was today. He understood Pietro’s fear of someone giving up, he only knew that Laura should’ve been smart enough to marry someone else.

Also, this was all getting way too emotional for his liking, he had a reputation to maintain, one of being a cold-hearted superhero, okay that was a bit of a stretch but still.

“I’ve made up my mind on this,” Pietro finally said, and Clint didn’t know how to argue it.
