Did the doctor say if it’s type 1 or type 2? Type 2 is usually easier to correct with diet and exercise, whereas type 1 is autoimmune so in most cases you can really only slow down the progression.

It’s type 1. I don’t eat much sugar, unlike my brothers, and even then apparently it’s not all getting into my system.

#AnduthForever (hopefully💕)Have you had more problems with higher or lower blood sugars? I would assume higher, if you’re body isn’t producing as much insulin, but if you’re on medication it might be different for you than it was for me when I was first diagnosed.

Lower. I literally could barely walk yesterday it was so low, but today, I seem to be basically normal, besides semi low levels, a lack of balance, and dizzy spells.

My mom’s doing a lot better! She had a doctor’s appointment and has been able to eat with us at the table and walk around the house without too much pain…which is a HUGE!!! improvement!

Ugh that’s not fun! Did you say you don’t eat sugar? How do you get your blood sugar up if you don’t? Or do you have to for that?

If I had ever learnt, I should have been a great proficient.
I don’t eat much sugar normally, now I have to eat sugary things. I also have to keep a candy in my pocket whenever I go somewhere now. My sugar levels are slowly going back to normal.
Apparently, it’s bothering me now because I was recently on Doxycicoline for Lyhmes, and that just messed up my body enough that I went downhill pretty fast to where I am now.
