thx for praying! It ended up being warmer than predicted, plus it sprinkled for five minutes then got sunny. One single (not ours) capsized, but the guy got back in and finished the race. Last, I think, but he finished.

One of our boats got second in a race, not sure about the others. This was the first time those lineups were put on the water together, no practice beforehand since this was a last-minute race, so we didn’t do too well, but no one got hurt besides a few minor scrapes and aching backs from carrying boats up and down hills, but tis to be expected. Otherwise, all was well!

please pray for my family.

We got some really bad news about my mom (for those of you who don’t know she has cancer) and she isn’t getting better. She’s actually getting worse, and she has to go on real chemo this time.

The worst part is that her cancer doctor is in Texas (and we live in Eastern Montana) so she left this morning with my dad to go back to Texas for another week. She was just in Texas two weeks ago for a week and it was one of the hardest weeks of my life, just being home with my grandparents, not knowing what’s going on and trying to be strong for my little siblings.

The truth is, this whole thing is really really scary, and I’m scared I’m going to slip into a depression because I just feel so detatched from everything. And that’s NOT what my little siblings need right now.

So just pray that my mom gets better, that my mental health gets better, and that I trust God more too. (because I’ve been starting to doubt him more lately)
