URGENT PRAYER REQUEST!
We just found out that the dad of two girls I know from school passed away unexpectedly yesterday. Right now we don’t know why but I can only imagine how this has turned his family’s life upside down. The girls are 14 and 10/11 and as far as I know it’s just them and their mom now (I don’t think they have any other siblings). Their dad was only in his 40s, I believe, and we didn’t know about any health problems he might have had, so definitely unexpected. Please pray for peace and comfort for his family. I know the girls somewhat well and their whole family is great people. I just feel so sad for them right now. I know what it’s like to lose a grandparent, but losing your father is so much different. ? Pray that they would find peace and hope during this time and that they would feel loved as their church, school, and family rally around them.??❤️‍?

Thanks for the prayers everybody! ?

They held the funeral today. I wasn’t there for the whole thing but it was good to get in contact with his oldest daughter (the one I know the best). Just please continue praying for them. Grief is a journey and the sadness never really fully goes away. There’s a joy in knowing he’s with the Lord, but know it’s still gonna hurt for them to not have their husband and father with them. Also please pray that I’d be able to support them and be there for them, specifically the eldest daughter. I don’t know her super well, but I want to be able to be a source of comfort for her and someone she knows she can lean on. <33
