Once Upon A Time My Story Began

Im a writer. Obviously.

But I wasn’t always. I never thought I could make it as a writer until five months ago, when a friend encouraged me to not give up, to keep writing.

I didn’t believe her; after all, I was 16. What 16 year old can get published?

Turns out, lots!

I sat down to finish the book I began at age 14. Drafting and redrafting, I finally finished on April 1, 2023 and self published it on April 5. 11 days later, I turned 17.

It is called With Eyes of Blue. You can find it on lulu.com, Barnesandnoble.com, and amazon.com.

As of two days ago, I self published Mary, Queen of Scots: A Shakespearean-Style Play and Fairy Tales Made Modern Volume 1.  Currently they are only available on lulu.com, but they are being globally distributed.

I’m Solfyre! I started writing when I was… nine? I’m now fourteen, and while I’m still working on developing some characters from back then, it may have made editing a little more difficult XD.

Your books looks awesome! (Especially With Eyes of Blue. I may or may not have looked it up and definitely want to get it… lol. I love her name and the idea of the story so much!)

1. My stories usually do the same, though they tend to lean towards either sacrifice, freedom, or trust in God.

2. There are so many lol, but my favorite would have to be Bryan Davis. I also like Christine Cohen and Christopher Hopper, though I’ve only read a few of his books.

I normally write science fiction/dystopian stuff, I also love historical fiction but it’s a lot of research for me 🤣😆 Your novel looks really cool!! I like the cover, too xD

Heyo!!! I’m AwsumFaith, Im a Christian teen girl who loves writing, daydreaming, singing, drawing, and obsessing over my favorite movies XD. Also, a character that can talk to wolves is SO COOL. XD I love that! In one of my WIPs there’s a character that can turn into a wolf and talk that way, kind of a shapeshifter-type-thing. Could be wrong, but I think @godlyfantasy12 has a character like that, too…. I’m forgetting his name. 😅

Awsumfaith— HTTYD: sometimes I like it, haven’t seen the movies since I can’t remember when. Favorite fantasy creature: mermaids! There is a mermaid in one of my published books (the fairy tale collection:). What I write with: I prefer pen and paper, then transferring to an iPad 🙂
