      @anatra23

      I just think he’s an awesome avenger and I love his character arc. He’s also just really funny (a pain sometimes) but has a good heart XD (pun intended) I also love the father/son relationship between him and Peter Parker. I just…I dunno lol. Do you not like Iron Man?

      It is! Ahh you should totally watch it sometime! It’s heart retching, but SO good! It’s about the lead singer’s (Bart Millard’s) childhood and how MercyMe became a band. Ohh yess, I like that song too!

      Oh cool! I also play the piano and sing at times 🙂

      Ahhh ohmygoodness I Built a Friend is soo good!!!

      Haha, I know it’s a hard question! Those are all such great authors!!

      Ahhh yes! I love C.S. Lewis! And those are such beautiful things to love about his writing too!

      Uhhhh I have no idea XDD. I love C.S Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Andrew Peterson (for obvious reasons) but I gotta also say Francine Rivers (I don’t read much historical fiction, but something about her books, I just…I love them. And her themes of Redeeming Love and how you’re never too far gone for Jesus are just so beautiful) and S.D. Smith (have you read the Green Ember Series? They’re so good!) and of course The Author of Everything Good and Perfect and Beautiful. And like, 100 more, but we’d be here all day, so…

      What is your favorite thing about the writing process?

      @devastate-lasting

      Oh haha! Yeah it’s pretty fun! 😉

      That which is striking and beautiful is not always good, but that which is good is always beautiful.

          Oh, no. Iron Man’s fine. I used to have this idea where he was an arrogant someone (who’s self-centered and covers it with sarcasm). My best friend and brother really like his character, and convinced me otherwise a coupe years back. I for sure see why–after the development arc he’s been through. I can respect him as a top-tier character. It just intrigues me sometimes.

          Oh cool! Do you take lessons for any of that?

          I know, it’s so saaadddd thhhooo.

          Those authors are really great too.

          My favorite thing about the writing process. Hmmm, definitely NOT editing or filling in plot holes. I do not like fixing grammar, and I am bad at it. I’d have to say, like, the beginning stages of daydreaming are my favorites:). I probably do it too much anyway. XD

          Idk, getting lost in ideas and worlds. I guess that’s why I like writing fantasy so much. It usually helps when I’m listening to music, too. Side-eyes the dozens of oc playlists.

          What about you?

            @joy-caroline

            It really is! I’m enjoying it 🙂

            @anatra23

            Oh yeah! My brothers were the same way (and still kind of are) but they respect him, especially after his arc came full circle in End Game. It is intriguing! Marvel’s character developments are priceless.

            I used to take a lot of lessons for more classical piano, but recently I’ve been getting into more worship type piano and chords and stuff, so a family friend has been teaching me that. 🙂

            What about you?

            It is sad!!!

            Heh, yaaa I’m with you when it comes to editing/revising XD

            Cool! I like that too. XDD *also has a playlist for each charrie, but it too lazy to edit them*

            I think my favorite part has got to be the world building. Especially for Fantasy and Dystopian, there’s just endless possibilities to what you can create, and I love dreaming up crazy and imaginative worlds. I also really like character development and writing character arcs. It’s so satisfying, and I really start to fall in love with my story, when I bring in the characters.

            That which is striking and beautiful is not always good, but that which is good is always beautiful.

              @avacoulter

              I get that. I do like how they round off most characters so perfectly *cough* Black Widow Winter Soldier Captain America Shang Chi Have you seen Shang Chi yet? Doctor Strange SpiderMan many more

              That’s cool. Do you think you’ll end up playing in your church?

              I was taught by my mom when I was four to six, then I was bounced around by tutors and teachers until a year ago when I finally found a teacher who would tolerate me for a while XD and she’s been teaching me classical ever since. I actually have a recital coming up, like next week, and it’s making me a bit nervous. But, since I’m one of her only pupils, (and the recital is taking place in her living room) it shouldn’t be such a big deal.

              Do you have any particular favorite songs to play?

              I know, but so goooooodd

              Characters do make worlds come alive. Possibly strange question: does developing characters come easily for you?

              OOo! Have you ever done character development charts? Like, character personality charts where you basically fill in your OC’s attributes.

                Yeah for sure! I haven’t seen it yet! I’m kinda behind on Marvel movies rn (i.e. Hawkeye, Shang Chi, the Loki Show…) Yaaaa I know XD

                I did get to watch NWH, which was amazing (and heart breaking tbh) Have you seen it?

                My church is pretty big, so idk. I am on the youth worship team tho (just for vocals), which has been super fun! So we play at youth nights and stuff.

                Oh cool!! Ya, recitals are kinda scary. I’m sure you’ll do great tho!

                Hmm. Well, I recently learned how to play Cardigan by Taylor Swift, which has been super fun to play. But I also really like playing River Flows in You as well 🙂

                Hbu?

                I know, I love that song! All his songs are amazing!

                They really do! Heh, noooo not really XDD. It’s my characters fault tho. They’re all stubborn and opinionated and do things to my plots that I don’t like haha (don’t tell them I said that btw). Lol I still really enjoy it tho, and writing and discovering character voices has been super cool!

                Oh, and Merry Christmas XD!

                I have! Those are SO fun. Have you?

                  Cool cool. It’s rare to find friends that you hang out with in both online and offline.

                  Newt and Minho are also my favorite characters from the Maze Runner Series! However that’s just from me watching the movies, I’m not sure if my answer would change if I read the books.

                  I highly recommend reading The Hunger Games especially if you like dystopian. The Hunger Games to dystopian is kinda like how LotR is to fantasy. Every dystopian writer wanted to write “the next Hunger Games” when it came out lol. And for a good reason, The Hunger Games is pretty amazing.

                  It’s funny how you talk to your characters, but it actually sounds like a really good writing technique to get to know your character’s and their voices better. I may want to try that sometime, haha.

                  Did I hear someone mention Coldplay, Alec Benjamin, and Taylor Swift? All three are a few of my many favorite music artists. Coldplay is particularly nostalgic for me as I was practically listening to them since birth lol. Do you have a favorite album and song from each artist?

                      Hi Katherine! *waves back at you*

                      I gotta say I’m a HUGE fan of TWN!

                      Ooo yess! Legolas is definitely my top tier, but I also love Pippin and Merry 😀

                      What’s yours?

                      Nicee! *fan girls*

                      It sounds amazing! I knowww I NEED TO READ IT! Someday… *glances at skyscraper high tower of books to read*

                      Ya, they’re my besties haha. It actually has been super helpful in finding their character voices and stuff, although it’s become too much of a habit for me I think. XD

                      Yesss! I love all their music! That’s so cool! Some of my favorite songs are from Cold Play lol.

                      Hmmm that’s so hard! I love pretty much all of T-Swift’s stuff. I really like the song Yellow by Cold Play, that’s one of my favorite songs. And…uhh I don’t know! Alec Benjimen’s songs are soo good. I do especially like his album Narrated For You. What about you? What are some other artists/songs you like?

                            @avacoulter

                            NWH Is so amazing! Ugh, I could quote it for hours. Even though some of the plot and characters felt like fan fiction, I really enjoyed it!

                            I went for the first time on the twentieth with some friends, then again on the twenty-eighth with my family and some family friends. But the second time I kinda fell asleep in the second half. (Nothing against the movie, I was just really tired) But I forced myself to stay awake until after the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man scene when he caught MJ. I nearly cried the first time I saw that. It’s a total Amazing Spider Man movies reference and I love it, and those movies were worth my re-watch, and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man will probably always be my favorite.

                            Anyway, I liked it. Do you have any thoughts?

                            Oh, and my brother got the LOTR extended movie additions for Christmas, and he said as soon as I read the books he’ll drag me into the basement and not release me and some friends until we have completed all 12.5 hours of film.

                            He’s already seen them, as he hid for the entire 12 hours, taking hardly any breaks for the whole deration of the movies. He had like, a bag of Doritos, two liters of Mountain Dew, three bags of microwave popcorn, two cartons of ice cream, a gallon of water, and a massive bag of Skittles. I would be concerned, but he’s a hibernating teenaged boy, so I think we’re good.

                            You’ve probably already answered this but imma ask again: have you seen LoTR movies?

                            One of my favorites to play on piano (that isn’t Bach or Tchaikovsky) would be Rust from the anime Violet Evergarden. I love it’s melody so much, and so much of the soundtrack from that anime is so perfect and emotional.

                            I am so uneducated  Yea, I’ve probably never listened to Taylor Swift before. I am uncultured ;-;

                            It is a bbeeaauuttiiiffuulll song indeed. He does so many so well. Have you heard Alec Benjamin’s most recent song, Older?

                            I was only a little obsessed with them for a while. XD I love organizing things like that and it was so nice to get all the character’s stuff down on paper.

                            Yes, merry (late) Christmas and happy (early) New Year!

                              Ahhh SAME!!! It was really sad tho!!! Like, uhhhhh😭 It’ll be interesting to see what Marvel does with it.

                              Oh funn!!! I went on the 18th with some friends and my brother’s friends. I knowwww I love that scene too! I haven’t seen the Amazing Spider Man movies yet, but I totally got that reference, which was SO cool!! All my friends were crying through like the whole movie, but as much as I wanted too, I couldn’t! At least, not in public anyways. I also really liked the scene at the end where all the Spidermans were in a group hug XD. Idk, something about it…I love it! Ya, Andrew Garfield’s Spiderman is amazing (pun intended of course)! My fave is Tom Holland.

                              Yeah! I thought it was really good! I was really sad that Peter never gave MJ the note at the end. That was really sad and hard to watch. And the fact that the Avengers don’t even remember him! *cries*

                              I thought Ned and MJ were super awesome in this movie too. I like how Peter, MJ, and Ned became closer, and MJ came out of her shell a little more too.

                              OH FUN!!! That sounds like SO much fun! We own the extended additions too, and they’re awesome! I love LotR marathons!

                              Hahaha that’s hilarious! 😂 He sounds like my brothers XDD (I have three of them myself)

                              YES! I’ve marathoned (idk if that’s a word, but it is now) the Hobbit Movies 3 times, and LotR 3 times (the first time being the original versions, and the other times being the extended ones) Yeah, I’m obsessed lol. What about you?

                              Ooh cool! I haven’t heard that one before, nor have I seen much anime *watches your shocked expression*

                              Haha, yeah I haven’t really listened to her at all until this past year (just didn’t care I guess), but you should give her a listen sometime! Her songs are really good, although I used to be kind of annoyed with her because most of her songs are only about boys and breakups…but Cardigan is one of my favorite songs, along with her album Red.

                              It is!!!! I have heard that song and LOVE it! I love all his songs, they’re SO good!!

                              Me too! *Points to countless OC documents for each character that I’m too lazy to edit*

                              You too! *Breaks into song* “we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year…” *trails off into silence and glances around to be sure no one heard me singing* XD

                                Girl, I TOTALLY agree! I love Bilbo so much more in the Hobbit!!! (He’s my absolute favorite character from the Hobbit!!)

                                Hmm, my favorite thing about writing would have to be creating my own stories and characters. (Creating is my life!) Mostly fantasy and some realistic-type stories. Here lately, though, I’ve been trying my hand mystery because I have always loved mysteries but never really wrote any before. What about you?

                                  Do you guys mind if I jump in here cause I love these topics?😊

                                  I love Violet Evergarden’s music too! My favourites are Rust, Never Coming Back, The Voice in My Heart, The Ultimate Price, Inconsolable, The Love That Binds Us, and Believe In…

                                  Yes, the extended editions of LOTR! My family never watches any other version — we’re kinda snobs in the fact that it absolutely has to be the extended edition.😂

                                  Cause the extended edition’s better, man!

                                  I’ve heard Taylor Swift cause my brother used to be obsessed with it. And to be fair, Shake It Off was kinda catchy, even if not all the lyrics were great.

                                  I watched NWH with my siblings, it was great! I haven’t actually watched any Spider Man movies except the Tom Holland ones, but when Andrew Garfield appeared, the rest of the audience whooped and clapped. And then when Toby Maguire appeared, the whole audience shrieked and whistled like they were cheering a winning sports team.😂 It was really fun! And I nearly cried at the end.🥲

                                  The relationship between the Spideys and Ned and MJ was just so sweet. And Aunt Mae😭😭😭😭

                                  *such a good movie*

                                  You should really watch Shang-chi! It’s quite good — not as good as Spider Man, perhaps, but it’s a pretty cool movie, and the cultural stuff is amazing. And the Hawkeye series is so Christmasy! And Loki … ah, well, how do I even begin …?

                                  I love Loki’s character. There’s nothing more to be said.😂

                                  @mkfairygirl

                                  I enjoy Bilbo’s character in the Hobbit movies, but I think I like the LOTR movies better on the whole.

                                  That’s cool you’re trying mystery! I always loved reading mystery stories growing up, but I’ve actually written any …

                                  Belated Happy New Year and Merry Christmas to you all!

                                  The end of a story, a beautiful picture; a feeling of longing yet hope~
                                  That’s my wish to create.
