      Very cool!! I like writing the endings too, it’s satisfying, although I have trouble not drawing it out too much or making it too happy XD

      @kathleenramm

      Oh cool! She’s actually the one who pointed me to KP and encouraged me to join the forum. That would be so cool! Yeah, she’s inspiring!

      That’s so true (about collaborative writing). Even just talking the other day with a good friend of mine (she’s not a writer, but she’s really involved with my book) about a frustrating plot point helped me get unstuck and come up with some new ideas.

      Wow seven! That sounds so fun! I’m the oldest of 5 πŸ™‚

      Yesss I love the movies! I don’t have a favorite book, I love them all, but my favorite character is definitely Newt. I just…I dunno I love him so much. The Death Cure broke my heart lol. *sobs* I also like Minho. What about you?

      I haven’t read the Hunger Games (surprisingly), although it’s definitely on my to read list!

      Oh that’s sooo cool!! That’s awesome that you write with your siblings too! It’s amazing how real and special your characters become to you. Although I think my family kinda questions my sanity a little bit, cuz I don’t talk to myself, I talk to my characters. Out loud at times just out of habit XDD

      I’d say my fave character to write is a character from a past WIP (which I’m taking a mental pause from for many reasons XD). Acheros is his name. His sullen, proud, and deeply hurting although he tries to hide it. He’s rough on the outside, but on the inside he’s just really scared and lonely and cares deeply about other people. But he is so fun to write, and I feel a lot of emotional connection to him for some reason. And his character arc has been really fun to write as well. It’s very redemptive and just yeah.Β  He’s my boy ya know?

      @anatra23

      Yess I’m so excited! I know, for sure! I just hope Marvel hasn’t gotten it in their heads to kill him or something (I wouldn’t put it past them tho) especially since they ended Tom Holland’s contract. *bites nails*

      Oh yeah! I do like Into the Spider-Verse, the new one looks super good too!

      Ikr! I still need to watch that XD

      Yeah haha! My mom won’t let me get rid of them tho XD…

      Yes, my first (actually decent) WIP is kind of a mess right now. I still really like the plot and characters and everything, but I made a lot of mistakes as a writer, and I have to fill in some plot holes and rewrite several chapters. So, I’m just taking a break from it, although I’m still planning to finish it once I’m done with my current WIP.

      That’s awesome! And yeah, I haven’t been as productive with my writing because of school and life and just…life XD

      Oooh that sounds so interesting!! That’s awesome! And ikr *shoves binder stuffed with random ideas for stories under bed*

      Well, my current project I’m planning to have it be (God willing) a dystopian trilogy and then when that’s done, I’d like to write 1 or 2 novels that tie into the trilogy. So yeah! The plot is kinda hard to explain, because I still don’t know what’s like a spoiler or not. But a lot of my inspo for it comes from the Maze Runner, and the Divergent trilogy. Most of the ideas I have for it came from my head tho. I’ve also been praying about it too, which has been cool how God gives me ideas. Also, the song Warriors by Imagine Dragons is literally word for word my story! It’s so cool!

      Speaking of music, what are some of your favorite songs/artists?

        @avacoulter Yeah, I agree, there is a balance to find.

        Do you write a lot of short stories or have you just been working on this main project?

          Thank you!

          Ah my goodness, I LOVE mac and cheese!! (Now I totally want some…) Honestly, my favorite food is anything pasta, especially fettuccini alfredo. I’m just a huge pasta fan. If we’re talking dessert, then tiramisu wins every time.

            Ah, plotting is climbing a mountain: hard, but worth it at the top. Your WIP sounds so interesting. I’ve never read dystopian, but yours captures one of my all-time favorite themes: ‘what is truth?’. Yeah, definitely a book I might read.

            Kigor was known for its lamp oil and towers, which meant that when the Island was razed, it went up at the slightest spark. There wasn’t much left.

            I’ve never met Legolas, but a friend of mine has spent quite a while with the Woodland Elves, so she’s told me about him. As for the war, I was stuck in Ban Rona. Yes, it was crazy. XD

            Totally doesn’t love to make a random setting. πŸ™‚ (SOMETIMES a help with world building)

            I’m actually narrowing down my WIPs, in that I have two main ones and let the others stand for now.

            I have difficulties with plot bunnies. πŸ˜‰

              I doubt they’d kill him off in Hawkeye, but in a future movie or series, maybe. He’s just come so far, and now they’re taking all this time to develop him with new characters, so the only reason he would die would be to develop the new friend he made in the tv series.

              Marvel ended Tom Holland’s contract?! When did that happen? Is NWH his last movie with them then?

              Lol your first WIP’s draft sounds an awful lot like mine…

              I’ve heard a lot of good about Maze Runner and Divergent. Divergent is actually on my reading list–after Silmarillion, Rook, re-reads, and a few other things…

              Speaking of music” don’t you mean, “singing” of music ??
              I’ll see myself to the door.

              Warriors is such a good song. Imagine Dragons has some really good ones. It’s been a while since I’ve listened to them, but I enjoy Demons and I Bet My Life.

              Music I’m into? Christian songs from artists like Mercyme, Matthew West, and (though she doesn’t follow a Christian song standard) Tori Kelly. Mostly I listen to pop songs, like Alec Benjamin and Alan Walker, and classical pieces, like Mozart and Tchaikovsky. Also movie soundtracks, like that of John Powell and Hans Zimmer. Both amazing artists, I love a lot of their movies.

              Favorite songs I would have to narrow down to mainly one: Battle Scars by Lupe Fiasco and Guy Sabastian. I do not like nearly any of their other songs(they’re not very clean) but I randomly found Battle Scars and love it to pieces.

              If you could narrow down you top five songs and artists, what would they be? What genres do you listen to the most?

                Yeah, for sure πŸ™‚

                I used to write a ton of cringe worthy short stories, but I think I got kinda tired of writing them XD. I’ve just been working on my main project, although I would like to get back into writing short stories cuz they’re good practice. But yeah. *shrugs*

                What about you?

                @joy-caroline

                Ikr?! Yess pasta is the bestest! XD

                Ohh my gosh tiramisu sounds so good right now lol. I’ve actually never had it before!

                How old were you when you started writing?

                @elishavet-pidyon

                Yes agreed (about plotting).

                Thanks! It’s been really fun to write. And the world building…*sighs* I love it. Yes, I love that theme too!

                Oh cool! Yes, Legolas and I are the best of friends.

                Wow that is crazy! Did you help fight at all? I wish I could’ve been there to help. I’m pretty decent with a sword (Edmund Pevensie taught me), but I wasn’t free to leave Middle Earth at the time. XD

                I know, I love doing that too! Ya, world building isn’t my strength, but I enjoy it. Oh cool! I’ll have to have you help me out sometime *winkety wink*

                SAME! I had to do that with my WIPs too. I know, those plot bunnies…

                @anatra23

                Yaaaa I hope not. πŸ™

                Yes they did! *stomps foot angrily* I think it was this spring? Maybe? I could be wrong tho. So yeah, NWH is his last movie being spider man. I’ve not been impressed with Marvel’s decisions lately (but that’s just me XD)

                I feel like I already asked you this, but do you have a favorite Avenger?

                Haha I know right. *Bangs head on keyboard*

                Yess they’re both SO good!!

                *laughs* hehe that’s a good point…I’ve never heard someone “speak” music before XD

                It is! Ya, they’re good! Ohhh yeah I like those songs too!

                Oh cool! I like MercyMe a lot too! Yesss Alec Benjimen! His songs are really good. Hans Zimmer is awesome too! Ahhh Battle Scars is such a goodΒ song! I’ve only heard it a couple times, but I really liked it.

                Hmm that’s hard! I listen to mostly indie/ALT/pop, but I also like country music and Christian too. Tbh my music taste is literally everything but the songs I don’t like lol. Prolly my top artists tho, are Cold Play, Imagine Dragons, and One Direction, and Taylor Swift, and James Arthur. And as far as Christian music goes, I listen to a lot of Phil Wickam, Hillsong, Lauren Daigle, and Cade Thompson. Fave song: I can’t choose! There are too many good ones! I do really like Yellow by Cold Play tho πŸ™‚

                  @avacoulter I’ve written/am working on a ton of projects right now, short stories, web fiction, novels, novellas… I like short stories because they’re quick and you can have instant satisfaction of finishing them, but also I tend to only write short story beginnings and nothing else, which is annoying on my part, haha.

                    It’s delicious! You should totally try it.

                    So I was four years old when I started inventing stories and scribbling them on scratch paper with a highlighter, haha. But when I was around seven or eight I started writing novels that were all 200 pages long, since I bought composition notebooks from Dollar Tree and filled those.

                    How about you?

                      I don’t know if I’m good at world building, but I completely agree. It’s fun.

                      Ban Rona was a mess. Yes, I fought, what’s more, I fought for my life. Those battles are longer in experience than in the records.

                      Edmund taught you? Wow, that must have been an amazing experience. I’m currently under the training of Master Sejus. πŸ˜‰

                        Oh awesome! I like that about short stories too. Although I tend to make them too long and drawn out XD

                        Ikr! I should!

                        Aww that’s awesome!! I was kind of similar. When I was around 5-11 I would write short stories and novellas and “publish” them with tape, staples and printer paper XDD. And then when I was like around 12, I tried writing a full-length novel on my mom’s computer, but it wasn’t very good, and I think I only made it past like the first one and a half chapters. I was into writing poetry for a while, but it wasn’t until this summer that a friend of mine inspired me to write more seriously. And pointed me to KP. So yeah!

                        Oof, I bet! I read about it, but I can’t imagine what it must’ve actually been like.

                        Yeah! It really was! I’ve yet to best him tho. XD Oh wow! I bet that was also an amazing experience πŸ˜‰

                          I just hope Marvel doesn’t start producing junk for money. NWH is gonna be a make it or break it movie for a lot of people.

                          Ugh, favorite Avenger… so many hard good decisions I really love Hawkeye’s character, especially after Endgame and seeing his growth in the show, but also Steve Rogers–Captain America–and I grew up (yes, I’m still a child tho) reading his and Spider-Mans comics, so I’m nostalgic abt that. But then there’s Black Widow, haveyouseenhermovieyet??Β Who, as I have a little sister too much like hers, I can relate to. Plus Bucky and Sam (Falcon) and Wanda. And Vision. Black Panther and Ant Man are up there too…

                          Yea. There’s your answer. In no particular order(off of superhero names): Scarlet Witch, Vision, Hawkeye, Captain America, Black Widow, Flacon, Winter Soldier, maybe Ant Man and Black Panther.

                          They all just have their own perfect arcs, moods and individual personalities. Yes, I’m aware you didn’t ask for my top nine, but this is too difficult for me right now.

                          Lol, do you have a favorite Avenger under nine?

                          Yes! Alec Benjamin, Hans Zimmer and MercyMe are amazing. Do you have favorites of theirs? Or favorite albums?

                          I’ve never heard of Cold Play, ig I should check them out.

                              I knowww! Yeah, it’s definitely make it or break it for me too. Uhhh Marvel. XD you love it and you hate it.

                              Ugh, I know they’re all so good! I love Cap and Spiderman. Especially spiderman XD.

                              Ohhh my gosh Black Widow!!! I love her movie, it was even better than I expected it to be! Gahhh they’re all so good! I love black panther too πŸ˜‰ And the ant man movies are awesome!

                              Haha no it’s a hard decision lol. My tops faves have gotta be Spiderman (XDD), Iron Man, Black Widow, and The Winter Soldier.

                              They are!!! I love Mercy Me’s song Dear Younger Me (it’s just so nostalgic sounding and it’s made me cry a few times. Especially since it reminds me of the movie: have you seen I Can Only Imagine? It’s SO good!) I also like their album Welcome to the New. I love all their songs on there. And Alec Benjimen! *sigh* I love his style and his voice is super unique. I like either Let Me Down Slowly or Water Fountain (why are all the songs I like sad lol?)Β  I don’t have a favorite of Hans Zimmer…all his stuff is awesome!

                              You totally should! They’re really good!

                              Who’s your favorite author and why?

                                Oh, interesting. What strikes you about Iron Man that you like?

                                Dear Younger Me is really so beautiful. I’ve never seen I Can Only Imagine, I’ve heard of it, but I don’t know the plot. Is it about MercyMe? My favorite of theirs has got to be Grace Got You.

                                Cool! I learned to play Water Fountain on piano a little while back. You’re right, though. Alec Benjamin only does sing sad songs. Like Built A Friend, it’s soooo good.

                                Do you play any instruments?

                                Oof, my favorite author? Other than the One True Perfect Author, aah, I’m so torn. On one hand you have C. S. Lewis, (author of, most famously known, Chronicles of Narnia) Charles Spurgeon, (theologian Christian, many commentaries) and Andrew Peterson (we all know who and why) but on the other there’s the author of my favorite book series, John Flanagan, who writes in such a C. S. Lewis way, but is painfully not Christian. Also Rick Riordan (author of Percy Jackson) who wrote so well–up until Trials of Apollo, then he wrote for money, much like John Flanagan. I could go back and forth over all their pros and cons in writing styles and character arcs, but for the sake of time(and finger cramps) imma say uuugghhhhhhh

                                C. S. Lewis. He has proven he can write over many differen’t genres, and the beauty in his writing is so personally unmatched. His style is so unique and captivating, and he philosophies within his stories, which I think is so amazing. Also Lewis’s themes are just perfect. He centers around two main things: 1. God’s all-powerful ful love, creativity, grace and sacrifice of His righteous Son. And 2. Imagination. I’m not fully sure how to describe what I mean, but he encourages no limit to imagination (only boundaries) and he practices this so wonderfully.

                                C. S. Lewis is probably a basic answer, but I adore his art so much.

                                Hope you enjoyed my minnk you. I tried to limit my speech.

                                I would’ve put Tolkien up there, but its been a while since I’ve read his books, and I’d just like to re-read them again before I can judge. πŸ™‚

                                Well then, who’s your favorite author?
