I did start on a story series, though. I took it upon myself to revamp the entire storyline. Not really doing that anymore, though. Although, I might adapt it into my own universe somehow. I also made a couple of animated excerpts from them. Two of them are with Minecraft characters made to look like them, though, as I didn’t have any good minifig rigs.
Fair enough about losing interest. 😛
Oh, and here’s some Rock Raiders renders I made using the minfig characters
Enjoy-ah!

What’s LGBT? :S
December 6, 2016 at 9:50 pm #22397@anne-of-lothlorien Okay, that part is not my favourite. He made a bad decision but it was Caspian’s fault. Yeah, Edmund is much better in PC. At least he changed.
December 7, 2016 at 12:35 pm #22423There there @Bluejay. *pats your hand* We’re all entitled to our own opinions. I don’t think less of you for liking Peter, though I couldn’t find a single thing to like about him except a few minutes there at the end. My sympathies were entirely with Caspian, though he made mistakes too. But it’s okay dearie. We can agree to disagree. 😉
December 8, 2016 at 2:13 am #22466@leumeister LGBT stands for gay, lesbian, bisexual, etc. *shudders* Do they not use that term in Australia?

Why would we stone you for watching the Jungle Book?
As for theme I agree that it was well done. However, I didn’t see the “anti-environmentalist” theme as much as the self-identity theme. I’m guessing they actually weren’t pushing for the environment theme, because the main theme was about Mowgli’s self-identity. However, I do see those other sub-themes. I have some other qualms with it that I won’t talk about, but I do think that its strengths were in its presentation of theme (and the CGI).

December 21, 2016 at 1:44 am #23071@bluejay What is A Matter Of Faith about? It sounds really good.
December 21, 2016 at 2:26 am #23073@sarah-h A Matter of Faith *rubs hand gleefully* Allow me to explain…
A Christian girl, Rachel Whitaker goes off to college for her freshman year and begins to be influenced by her popular Biology professor who teaches that evolution is the answer to the origins of life. When Rachel’s father, Stephen Whitaker senses something changing with his daughter, he begins to examine the situation and what he discovers catches him off guard. Now very concerned about Rachel drifting away from her Christian faith, he tries to do something about it.
(Taken from the back of the DVD) 🙂December 21, 2016 at 7:42 am #23075@sarah-h Because producers don’t want their movies edited, as I understand it. And I think they’ve already lost the case, but they have the funds to and are planning on carrying it even to the supreme court if need be.

Right, so not liking romance is another part of my rebellion. “Join me and we can never watch romances again!” All the books in my age group, and sometimes under, are romances. Have romances. It makes me sick. Love triangles are terrible. I honestly don’t understand why people like them so much. Why do you like them so much? 😀 😛
There are a few that are really done well and that I enjoy, to name a few: The Princess Bride, The Black Arrow, A Cinderella Story … … … I can’t think of any others.
As for musicals… It has to do with my rebellion. 😛 But really, it shows things to fast for me. I’d rather things be shown in a different way. Dialogue. Action. Foreshadowing. Plus, the songs get stuck in my head and are completely irrelevant to me. I.E. I’ll be sitting at my desk and go “Love is an open doooorrrr!” “Wait, why am I singing that?” If I have a song stuck in my head, I’d rather it not be that. And I don’t mind most of these new movies anyway. I really enjoyed the new Pete’s Dragon. A lot. I wasn’t to big of a fan of Cinderella mainly for the romance, but it was really well done. I did like it otherwise. I’ve never seen the originals of Snow White or the Jungle Book, and not really Sleeping Beauty either. I watched Sleeping Beauty once probably more than ten years ago and I wasn’t even paying attention that well… There was a fly. 😛 I saw part of Jungle Book and didn’t like it, but I liked the new one better. That’s me…really really picky.
@anne-of-lothlorien You asked this a while ago, but here I am…answering you. Sorry.
I think VotDT as a book, if I can recall correctly, was boring at some points. The movie was right to add new stuff to tie it all together, but wat they used as string, should’ve been rope. But I’m not really an authority on the subject. I admit that I’ve only read it once…. *hides beneath swords and glares* *flaps wings and hopes people step out of the way*☀ ☀ ☀ ENFP ☀ ☀ ☀
December 21, 2016 at 2:36 pm #23106@dragon-snapper If I say that I’ve pretty much got VotDT memorized, will you melt me?

December 21, 2016 at 6:04 pm #23109@ethryndal The book or the movie? I can watch a movie once and memorize it. A movie I watched three years ago I completely remember. But the book, I hardly remember that well. And as a general rule, I try not to melt humans, especially not elves. I’m sure Galadriel would send a fellowship out to get me if I did that to you. 😛 No, I’m more worried for myself for only reading it once in the midst of so many Narnia fans.
