Leo
“Here God made light. It wasn’t light from a star or something. He just said ‘Let there be Light’ and light was made–unrestrained, ucontained light. Then God divided the light from darkness. Here he makes a distinction that there will be places without light–darkness. And he called that darkness night, and the light he called day. This is how these new creations of light and darkness will be affected by time.”

Okay, SO
Getwinn is the name of the twins’s planet and is a lot like earth, but bigger and much greener. Kilanians (Qilanans? Can’t decide) (the twins’ species) are about as technologically advanced as humans. Their tech runs solely on solar power, and they have a strong connection to nature, so all their cities look modern but also look like they’re built into the trees. It’s very ecopunk, if you know what that is.
There’s also another still unnamed and underdeveloped species (ideas always welcome) on Getwinn that inhabits all the costal regions. They’re semi aquatic, and usually are very colorful, like tropical fish. They have scales and webbed feet and hands, but look mostly human. One of my current favorite side characters is this species. She’s the main singer in a band, and her friends’ nickname for her is Siren.
Gettwin was the first planet to be visited by other aliens, but the third to develop space travel themselves. It’s the most utopian planet out of all of them and I love it dearly. There are six more planets (two uninhabited) in the solar system, but I will stop myself here.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk :]

January 23, 2026 at 2:33 pm #210263Oooo, utopia. I’ve always been kind of interested in those but they’re rarely explored in books or media because dystopias are more appealingly edgy. If they’re the first planet to be visited and the third to develop the technology, does that mean space travel is pretty easy for them? Like moreso than for other planets’ inhabitants?

January 23, 2026 at 2:33 pm #210264Also I have no idea what to write for Dante rn. He’s just spacing off in the corner.

January 23, 2026 at 2:42 pm #210267They’re kinda in the middle. By the time the story takes place, space travel is pretty commonplace, but most of it is done by people from Fainne and Talu (Liko’s planet), because the former is the mast technologically advanced, and the latter has the best natural resources to trade. Tered (Dante’s planet) and Gicel are pretty remote and get less traffic, and Getwinn is just in between. It’s also literally in the middle in terms of distance from the sun.

January 23, 2026 at 2:43 pm #210268hehe I have never heard that compliment applied to anything other than visual art before lol. I am glad you liketh <3 Thank you for letting me ramble.

January 23, 2026 at 2:47 pm #210269Well that makes sense. Especially because Liko has the design and skills of someone who belongs to a technologically or at least extra-able advanced group. What are Fainne and Gicel like?

January 23, 2026 at 2:54 pm #210270Gicel is cold. That’s all I got for it. Dante would not survive twenty minutes there.
Fainne is like the central hub for everyone in the galaxy. It’s a big mash up of cultures and is covered in somewhat over populated cities. Liko lives there, though he was born on Talu. The natives are Lemonhead’s species (still no name). They invented space travel first. It’s also the only planet with rings like Saturn.

January 23, 2026 at 2:56 pm #210271Aaaaand the embarrassment has finally hit. Sorry for clogging up the role play. You caught me in a very talkative mood. *runs away and hides in a pillow fort*

Qilanans sounds cooler. But then again, I’ve always liked the letter Q because of Quack.
?For our Blessed Lady's sake, bring us in good ale!?
January 23, 2026 at 3:00 pm #210273Well, they’re pronounced the same, technically, since a Q without a U sounds like a K. (I think?? Lemme double check that)

Why do I feel like the characters are going to crash-land there? It’ll be an episode of a tv show where it’s Dante’s POV and he’s absolutely miserable

Seems like a fun place with a lot of artificial lighting and neon yellow highlights. I’m not sure if that’s accurate but that’s what I’m imagining.
Also girl don’t be embarrassed. It’s interesting.
