I was waiting for either Syph to respond to Rax’s apology, or for @whalekeeper to start the class with Barnes as the teacher, but if both of them are busy, I can try to rp sometime soon. Maybe not tonight though.

Syph blinked, flushed blue, then white. The air in the classroom hung heavy with humidity. Guppies and trout. What would his brother say if he heard about this.
But the Wingless kid had apologized–actually apologized–even if Sypher didn’t entirely understand why. He had to honor that.
He looked up and met Rax’s gaze.
“Don’t think of it. It’s nothing. My brother says I am too easily stirred, but I do intend to dance. I-I wouldn’t know how to just watch. How could someone stand aside and not be caught up in the current and swept along?”
A shudder ran up the young sprite’s back at the thought of rushing, sweeping waters. His eyes shifted to a clear, turquoise blue. The air shuddered around him.
