I’ve actually slept in triple bunk beds before, and they just have one ladder going all the way to the top. I might have a picture… I’ll have to see if I can find it.
Also, I won’t be around much today either, but I should be available tomorrow afternoon.

As you can see in this picture, the bottom bunk is directly on the floor, and the ladder goes up to the second and third bunks.
