Btw, in case you didn’t notice, Ellis did speak to Kaine in passing. He told him and Ottoline to keep their weapons on them and stay alert. Not very important, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Yeah, not much has happened in the dining hall. Ellis and Nahim had a chat, then followed Zahlin out of the room. I think GRCR wrote a short one with Flaz, but not much happened in it.
I don’t know why Zahlin can’t touch other swords, but I would assume it’s some sort of curse on him. @highscribe said that carrying any bladed weapon other than his own sword causes him severe pain and he is forced to drop it.

📚 Appreciator of BooksYeah! Maybe they go to kill a dragon later on, but Conviction can’t cut the scales so Nahim (pinned under a boulder, so he can’t do anything) throws his sword to Ellis, to see if that will work. Or would Conviction be able to cut through dragon scales?
