Nahim
Nahim punched Zahlin in the stomach, a little to the side and up at an angle, a trick he had accidentally (unfortunately for his older brother) learned many years ago to put pressure on the diaphragm. Zahlin brought his sword down on Nahim, but it reflected off of his armor with a metal clang, leaving no dent. Ellis attacked again.
‘This guy is good.’ Nahim backed off, but then ran forward, sword in front. The two swords of Zahlin and Nahim clashed, but Nahim slid on the floor to the side, with the sword protecting him. Up he sprang as Ellis distracted Zahlin and there was a click. Something pressed up to the back of Zahlin’s head.
“Stop or you die.”
If you don’t like this you two, I’ll disregard this as never happening, just let me know. I don’t know how good your characters are, and I certainly don’t like underestimating.

📚 Appreciator of BooksYes he did. Though don’t tell HighScribe this, but Nahim would never shoot someone from behind, or stab them. His brother died by being stabbed in the back while he dueled, so Nahim considers it dishonorable.

“Stop or you die.”
Zahlin spun around. Nahim had something small and dark leveled against his head. Zahlin glared at him contemptuously before snapping his Sword back in its sheathe. Nahim visibly relaxed slightly.
Zahlin whipped his Sword out. Knocking Nahim’s hand down with the flat of the blade, he slid the blade into a chink between the armor at the base of his neck, so that the tip lightly touching his neck. He looked steadily into Nahim’s eyes. His mouth twisted into a smile.
“I win.”

Zahlin isn’t going to fight anymore. In his eyes, he’s beaten them, or at least they’ve come to a tie, and besides, he doesn’t actually want them dead.
If I had ever learnt, I should have been a great proficient.

I’m pretty sure Nahim is wearing a helmet.

“I win.” Nahim stared at him, memories of the last time his throat was cut flashing through his mind. Though this time, it wouldn’t be his voicebox hurt. His hand grasped the blade of the sword and pushed it away as he moved his neck away from the sharp point.
“Maybe. Peace?” Zahlin still stared at his visor. Nahim slowly reached up and removed his helmet, setting his black hair free. He returned the gaze with his bright red eyes. Zahlin sheathed his sword.
“Peace.” Nahim bowed his head towards him.
Btw the only reason Nahim said “Maybe.” Is because he’s very defiant. Also, the mention about his voicebox is something that happened to him before he got his neckband, it’s the reason he has the voice of a young teen.
Where do we go from here?

#AnduthForever (hopefully💕)Well, Ellis is going to want to get some answers about what Zahlin is up to. Depending on what is, he’ll either want to help, go back to the feast, or (probably not) fight him again. So we need to wait for @highscribeofaetherium.
