NAHIM
Another warrior in the group came and sat down next to Nahim, and extended hi hand.
“I’m Ellis, you?”
Nahim stared at him through is one-way black tinted visor. Why the hand? For a Realn to grasp the wrist of someone, was to greet or say good bye to a friend. When Nahim reached forward his own right hand, the fellow did not ggrasp to wrist, but rather the hand, and shook it. Nahim felt a little stupid, he should know about the weird handshakes people did in other cultures.
“Lord Nahim. Ellis, that’s a good name, and a good blade to go with it.” Nahim removed his hand and motioned towards Ellis’s sword.
"You need French Toast."

”Thank you,” said Ellis, “it’s been in my family line for thousands of years. Is that thing a weapon?” He gestured to the handle Nahim was carrying.

“Is that thing a weapon?” Ellis motioned at Nahim’s crystal sword.
“It is. I don’t do well with guns,” Nahim patted the gun completely concealed in a custom holster on his left hip. “But swords! They are the thing I can wield.” He unhooked his sword handle and rotated a piece on it with his thumb. Immediately, molten green crystal shot out and formed a solid, glowing blade.
"You need French Toast."
Ellis
A green blade formed from the handle. “Woah!” said Ellis, “what is that made of?” Maybe he could figure out how to make them. That would give their troops back home a serious edge…assuming the sword was as good at cutting as it looked. Wait, Ellis thought suddenly, what’s a gun? Whatever.
”My sword glows green too,” Ellis commented, “but only when I’m in the right state of mind.”

“It is made of a special crystal that with a sudden burst of energy bursts up as molten crystal. Then it hardens, naturally, glowing and really hot. If you touched this right now, you’d get an immediate burn, though,” Nahim touched the blade with his armored fingers “I’m not in much danger from one unless it gets in between the plates. and what about yours?”
"You need French Toast."

”Hhmmm… let’s see, I’ve had this explained to me before,” said Ellis thoughtfully. “Conviction is made of normal materials, but is enhanced by Arcweaving…do you have that? No? …well it involves manipulating fundamental forces of the universe. I don’t really understand it, but one of my friends is an Arcweaver. Anyway, the sword has a permanent Arcweaving imbued into it. The sword is practically unbreakable, and when I’m in the right mindset, it enhances my physical strength and speed. In that state it also can cut through things much more easily.”
