The first nine characters ended up in a house that locked them inside and forced them to participate in a party. Eventually the house transferred to another dimension. At that point, two more characters, Ellis and Zahlin arrived independently and joined the main group as they met the Queen of Lillen. So far, they have learned that she brought them here and says they can’t go home unless they help defeat the dragons that are plundering the land. Naturally, none of the characters are thrilled about this.
I still recommend reading back aways to get a feel for the characters. Hopefully that helps.
