One thing I was thinking is that maybe they need to retrieve something. This world seems very nature based, so maybe the dragons stole something that supplies the “life force” of the land and our characters need to steal it back?

That could work too, but it would mean that they went on a few smaller missions instead of one linear quest. But we could still do that if people would rather.

What do you think the quest should be? We have two ideas so far:
They have to retrieve some sort of “life source” from the dragons to restore Lillen.
or
They have to journey to kill some specific dragons.
Also feel free to throw out suggestions.
