Carrie is having a difficult time feeling bad for him.

I couldn’t come up with any idea that sounded good except to go and help Silas myself. That wasn’t actually true – I didn’t want to do anything except go help Silas myself.
If I could get past Nahim I might have had the chance. For that, only one ideas came to my mind. I would let Fire Face free to roam until an event happened, then I could go get Silas while everyone was distracted.
I made the choice irrationally. I saw flames in the distance and realized it was almost time for me to go.

I mean, Nahim is the only one pacing around the entire campsite rn, so as long as she doesn’t step on a stick or something, she could potentially slip through.

I quietly left the campfire deciding I couldn’t leave my brother there.
Just leave me alone… I thought it, but it was directed towards everyone at the campfire.
I found the spot where Silas was. He lay in the same place, I shook him a bit.
“Wake up.” I snapped quietly.
I shook him harder and he began to move a bit.
“Stop.” He murmured.
“Then get up.” I gently kicked him, he moved his hurt arm out of the way, I had completely forgotten that is was that arm.
Silas sat up and looked from his arm to me.
“Your animal is a psycho. And you’re a bit crazy yourself.”
“Hm.” I said as a reply. “Let’s just get back to the campsite.”
We walked to the campsite, Silas had the same reaction to Fire Face’s bite that I did, he kept telling me on the way there that he couldn’t move his arm and it was burning.

oh, and it’s so funny how all the other charries have these weird fantasy names and then there’s just “Snake” and “Rocky” lol

There’s a good number of characters that have normal names too: Hugo, Carrie, Kari, etc. Ellis is also a real name, though not common these days.

? Appreciator of BooksNahim also is a real name, though I did make it up my self, when I googled it a year later I discovered it to be an Arabic? I think name that means “comfortable, at ease.” In Realn it means, “strange one, lone one, survivor or last one.”

What I’ve learned is that pretty much anything out can imagine is a name in some language ?

From what I know of how Arabic languages sound, I would think it would be pronounced “Nah-heem” or something like that, rather than “Nay-him.”

? Appreciator of Books@jonas Fair point. Those are normal names, but they’re at least a little fantasy-sounding.
Snake’s Japanese name (since he came from a series of video games, and you know how the Japanese love video games), スネーク or “Sunēku” (google translated that lol) is kinda cool and fantasy-sounding, but since he appears basically Western and not Asian, I went with his American name when I inserted him into my stories.
