I scooped up Fire Face and put him in my pocket, then buttoned it so he couldn’t pop out, feeling no guilt by the fact I trapped my cat.
“I forgot to mention the purple thing.” I said, as we went on to find the nearest exit.
"Watermelon Earthmelon Firemelon Airmelon. The Elemelons."

“Yeah, it would’ve helped. I was looking for a mammel with flaming fur!” Tren grabbed Carrie, pulling her out of the way as a flaming beam fell. He coughed after he set her down, barely able to take in a breath. “We need to hurry, this place is really smoking.” They jumped over another flaming beam, spotting an exit. Coughing, the two of them burst out into the light, and out of the smoke. Tren gasped, taking in a deep breath.

As soon as we got outside, I burst into a fit of coughing, breathing in fresh air, coughing out smoke. Fire Face squeezed his way out of my pocket and fell on the ground, small sparks shooting out of his mouth when he landed.
“No!” I snapped, snatching up the kitten and putting him back in my pocket. I looked at my hand, it was almost entirely black, the burn slowly coming back as my adrenaline came down.
"Watermelon Earthmelon Firemelon Airmelon. The Elemelons."

“We need that to get checked out.” He managed to say between coughs. The bite didn’t look natural.

Ellis and Zahlin headed down the passage. Finally, they saw a group of four people: Fennin, the two strangers, and the imposter, Styx. Fennin was speaking:
”…I don’t need any imposters under my command.”
Ellis put his hand on his sword in case Styx tried anything.

“What’s the point?” I asked snappily, breathing heavily, then blurted out,”Aren’t I going to get impaled or something for causing all this mayhem?”
I felt immediate guilt once again for going to one of the worst extremes, but that was what I had always done – thought of the worst just so I would maybe expect it, and besides, it was all my fault.
