I wanted to kill her, and now I have and I don’t want to!

#AnduthForever (hopefully 💕)November 23, 2023 at 10:47 am #166329Idk, they do weird stuff like that. Knowing the Realn, I bet they did it so he would have to deal with the failure of loosing his charge. To a Realn, loosing you charge is awful, to Nahim, it’s worse.

Nora awoke, not hearing the voices singing, and only seeing Kate dueling another fellow. She shot up, throwing her spear at the figure with a throw that would not miss him.

#AnduthForever (hopefully 💕)November 23, 2023 at 10:55 am #166335The heroes probably fight them off, after the villains try to kill Fennin, Tren and Fennin’s father.
I really want to bring the Queen back to life…just having her seriously injured and the elves thought she was dead…would that be okay?

November 23, 2023 at 11:04 am #166339Nahim
The cry of agony that left Nahim’s throat would shatter anyone’s heart but the heart of Grathmere. The cry of agony over the death of the one he had decided to protect. Nahim let out and took in shaky breaths. He had failed for the millionth time to protect. He approached the Queen, pulling off the armor and glove from his left hand. He set his finger to her upper lip, and felt a gentle breath. He felt for her pulse, and found it. The stab from the ice elf’s knife had barely missed her heart. Lifting the Queen, he took her away, to find someplace to keep her safe and tend to her.
Rigere and Angere
The two siblings smiled and laughed at each other as they heard the cry of agony echoed through the halls. They had caused pain to yet another Realn.

@everyone I forgot to mention my charries have a magic healing stone that gradually heals any injury (aside from loss of limbs). Is that too overpowered, or can my Katonia use it?

@jason not your Kate
Katonia
I coughed. Smoke. Darkness. No, it was getting lighter. Fire. Uh oh.
I sat up, coughed again, and looked around. I thought I heard the faint receding notes of a flute, but I couldn’t be sure.
Brian lay next to me. My heart jumped into my throat, but then he coughed, and I sighed with relief.
“How far did we fall?” he mumbled.
“I have no idea. I don’t even know how I survived.”
“Do you have your satchel?”
I felt inside. The pink healing stone, as big as my fist, glittered. I was careful not to touch it. I didn’t want it stuck to my hand just yet. The Golden Key sat beside it. The magic sack, some rope, some bread, some water… that was all. “Yup. Nothing’s missing.”
Brian sat up. “Where are we?”
“In some sort of burning castle. When we fell I heard screams and battle sounds, but now…”
“Battle? Ok, we’re going in.” He leapt to his feet. He glanced out a glassless window, then charged the closed wooden door.
“Wait! I see smoke on the other side!” But I was too late.
The door smashed in, and Brian was thrown back by a wave of heat. The hall was ablaze.
“Kate,” he asked, “how much water do we have?”
“Not that much.”
Brian considered from a safe distance. Then, like the impulsive blockhead he wasn’t, he raced through the flames. “Come on, Kate!”
“I’m coming!”

Anyone got a baddie I could fight? I won’t be able to get to it until this evening though
