I still couldn’t find my cat. In the process of trying to look casual, I fell over nothing – a few times, a common occurrence for me. A few minutes later, I heard the sound of glass shattering behind a door. As the sound kept playing I cringed. What made it worse? A little scratching sound came from behind the door, followed by a little paw popping out from underneath.
When I think I heard the last of it I slowly opened the door, just peeking in, then my jaw dropped as I looked at the scene. My cat stood by the door way and looked with me at the five enormous broken windows covered in smoke and soot.
Fire Face let out a squeak and pawed at my ankle as if I were supposed to thank him for his job.

When I think I heard the last of , I quickly opened the door, the handle was getting hot, and everything that could possibly ignite it that room was in flames – along with five broken windows.
I didn’t know what to do, Fire Face ran out the room with a ton of happy little squeaks as I was processing, panicking and trying to get an idea of what to do about the fire.

Kate suddenly thought she smelled smoke. She sniffed harder. Yes, that was smoke.
Before she knew it, she was running. Down the hall, she found the girl Carrie looking on in horror as a fire raged inside an opened room.
Are you KIDDING me?
Kate ran back the way she had come, following where Fennin had gone.
She arrived out of breath. “We’ve got…another problem,” she panted.
”What?” demanded Fennin. “Who’s fighting now?”
”No one,” said Kate. “There’s a fire downstairs.”

I honestly have no idea. They have no hoses or anything, and I doubt buckets will be enough. They better figure something out fast.

I knew Kate saw the fire, I assumed she ran to get help, but I had no idea of what I should do.
I looked helplessly at Fire Face.
“Can’t you… you know? Suck it all back in… or something?” I asked stupidly in my undying panick.
