Piper
Our uncle saw that some people were giving away a 2-3 month old rabbit, and sent it to our parents (half jokingly I think.) We decided to get her.
We’ve had Piper for eight years. She’s all black, except her nose and the tip of one paw, which are white. She likes it when people sit on couches and pet her with their feet and chews on…every…single…wooden object she can get her teeth on.
Sunny
Our family babysat friends’ cockatiel. Afterward @HighScribe wanted one, so now we have Sunny, a yellow cockatiel.

I guess I’m pretty boring, lol. The only pets I’ve ever had were fish, and most of them didn’t stick around long. Bubbles was a goldfish who made it to the extraordinary age of two months before departing this world. (I think two months was the longest any of my goldfish lasted. I had one that only made it three days before dying.) However, I had a beta fish named Rainbow who lived for two-three years, but after she died we didn’t get any other pets.
