I suppose if the king had something to hang over their heads, he might be able to force the unwilling ones to work for him. For Krenna, all it would take is a bribe. It doesn’t seem like Glace will be willing no matter what.

? Appreciator of BooksWell, we could combine them while keeping them separate at the same time. What I mean is…they’ll have the same story as the Character Party, but we’ll just RP the villains in the Dark Castle RP and RP the “heroes” here. The two role plays would intersect, or so to speak, when the villains cross paths with the “heroes”, but we’d role play the villains in the dark castle. (would that be too confusing?)
Maybe the king tells them that he’s not a villain and the Queen is? Then later the “villains” find out that he used them as “villains” to sabatoge the Queen’s plan.
But if anybody wants to add more villains, they could also just put them into the Dark Castle like you said. That wouldn’t be as confusing as my idea might be, and we do need more villains in the Dark Castle.
Or…I could just add Fracture to this one! Imagine all the death and destruction and fear he’d cause….not.

And yeah that could work. Some characters might need to be tricked, but some would just do it for a reward.

Another option would be to essentially start another villain castle in this RP with only villains instead of a mix.
