Hedieh
Hedieh’s eyes lit up as she watched the two men begin to fight. Wow, this escalated quickly. Fighting didn’t bother her much, but with these two, it could be much worse than a good-hearted duel.
She glanced down at an old sword lying in the corner. Just in case, she reminded herself, trying to ignore the itch to simply wield a sword. Only if I need to. But only if she needed to. Only then…
(That wasn’t much but I couldn’t really think of anything else because Hedieh isn’t really a peacemaker. XD)

November 4, 2023 at 3:19 pm #163053I’m back y’all! I started reading through some of it while I ate breakfast this morning but didn’t have a chance to get fully caught up until now. If any of you asked me a question that I don’t answer here, just remind me. I think I devoured about ten pages total between breakfast and right now lol.
I think it’s a good thing that Kari’s in the scouting group. That definitely seems more her thing. I know they’re all able to speak English, but I think she’s the only one who can write it, correct? She does still have her journal with her from way back in the very beginning, so she has something to take notes with if need be.
And I’ll jump in on the Google doc as well. I’m a bit of a grammar freak so if there’s anything that you all haven’t fixed yet, I’m happy to help. My email: 2004Twinkles@gmail.com.

November 4, 2023 at 3:27 pm #163055I believe Hugo could also read and write English.

Nahim was good, though he showed signs of his headache slowing him down. Part of Zahlin was glad of that handicap – Nahim was annoying enough to fight as it was. Zahlin considered throwing one of the chunks of metal at his head. Instead, he attempted to hook Nahim’s leg while stabbing at his face.

How long should we let this go on for? Is your plan working? 😅

If they stabbed each other would they die?Any noun can become a verb if you don't care enough.
November 4, 2023 at 7:40 pm #163105Nahim
Zahlin hooked Nahim’s leg while trying to stab him in the face. Nahim moved out of the way and body slammed Zahlin into the wall, using his sword to block Zahlin’s. Stepping back, Nahim waited for Zahlin to collect himself (which was not long) before they clashed swords again. Nashim saw an opening. Using one hand, he wielded his blade to keep Zahlin distracted as he punched his stomach with his metal hand with all his might.

November 4, 2023 at 7:55 pm #163106If they stabbed each other would they die?No punctured lungs please. And no abdominal wounds either. We already know neither will actually die, but if you want Zahlin to cut Nahim or something, I don’t mind. (Such an odd topic, lol!) Though I can’t promise you Nahim won’t get Zahlin back for that.
