WHAT? You’ve NEVER played truth or dare???
Well anyway here’s how it works:
In a group, someone asks someone specific, “Hey Ottoline, truth or dare?” Then they have to pick. If they choose truth, they ask them a question like, “Ottoline, what’s going on between you and Hugo?” and they HAVE to answer it. If they choose dare, they dare them to do something like, “Ottoline, go and knock on the door of the boys’ room and say something to annoy Ellis, then try to escape with all body parts intact.”
Does that make sense?

Kate fought her way through the underbrush. An hour ago, she had suddenly found herself in a completely different world, with no sign of any of her friends.
Her powers weren’t working here either. Luckily, she still had a few spells stored in gemstones at her belt.
Finally, she came in sight of a strange building. She stopped, peering out. “This looks suspicious,” she said.
What are you talking about, said Bloodsong sweetly, this place looks nice!
”Exactly!” hissed Kate, “they’re trying to lure me in!” Kate had been being pursued long enough to never let her guard down. Although in this situation, it was pretty obvious that her guard should be up. Obvious to people at least.
I think you should go in, said Bloodsong.
”That’s the opposite of what I should be doing!” said Kate.
It’s night, observes the sword, if I recall correctly, humans don’t like being outside at night. She sounded pleased with herself for remembering. Stupid sword.
Besides, continued Bloodsong, if your friends are in this world, I bet they’re in there.
Kate ground her teeth in frustration. “Fine,” she said, “but I’m not just walking in.”
She carefully selected one of the transparent stones from her belt and crushed it in her hand. The woven together Arcpoints grew and threatened to drift away, but she held onto them with her mind, activating the spell. They points formed a translucent gray sheet which went over her, and left her virtually invisible. It would wear off in ten hours or so, or if she dismissed it, but for now, she was undetectable.
She snuck into building and found herself in a large dining hall. Nobody was there, but plates of food still sat on the table. Realizing how hungry she was, she sat down, still invisible, and began to eat, keeping a watchful eye out, in case this was all an elaborate trap.
