Yay! Which character would you like me to ask?

Oh okay, thanks! Hmmm… I have a character named Everett that I’ve tried to write for on KP a couple times. He can be extremely awkward and quiet so it might be odd to put him in an interview, but I’d be up to trying it if that’s alright XD.

ummmm let’s go with Darby. Warning: I only made him up a few days ago so he’s super underdeveloped.

I will ask Everett some questions soon :]

Hi Everett! I’m Lindy. It’s nice to meet you. How are you doing? Would you like a cookie? *holds up a plate of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies*

So, first question, what’s your full name?

Who are your favorite people in your life?

          How old are you?

          Do you have any pets?

What’s something you love about where you live?

What kind of education did you have growing up? Are you still in school?

Alright! Hopefully my questions are okay lol.

Hey Darby! Cool name! I’m Beth. Are you okay with me asking a few questions?

What kind of activities are you good at? Do you prefer ones that take up more brain energy or physical energy?

Is there anything in your world that you’d change when it comes to socialization? Such as how people are greeted or what is considered rude or polite?

What are your parents like, if you know?

When you hear a word, do you simply think of the word as it is, or does a certain scene or color (or maybe something else) come to mind?

What’s your favorite color, and is there a specific shade of it that you like?

Hi Everett! I’m Lindy. It’s nice to meet you. How are you doing? Would you like a cookie? *holds up a plate of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies*

Everett waves hello, but hardly looks at you. He takes a cookie. “I am fine. Thank you.” Next he proceeds to carefully remove the chocolate chips out of the cookie and eat them only.

So, first question, what’s your full name?

              “Everett Anthony Lafayette.”

Who are your favorite people in your life?

Everett blinks. His voice remains very monotone. “My sister is one of them, and my close friends. But they are all very loud.”

              How old are you?

“I am seventeen. Everyone thinks I’m younger, since I’m not tall compared to other people where I live.”

              Do you have any pets?

“I have a pet dragon. He lives in a cave and guards cursed metals. No one except my friend Jonathan believes me. The dragon disguises himself as a giant rock wall when other people are around.”

What’s something you love about where you live?

He frowns, glancing around as he contemplates. “I don’t know. I don’t exactly like where I live; there’s too many rules. I like looking at the clouds, but clouds can be anywhere.”

What kind of education did you have growing up? Are you still in school?

Everett shakes his head no. “I went to a school in T’kayon until I was ten. There was numerous rules and too many concepts I don’t think I’d ever use. Some were okay, I guess. People in T’kayon expect normal kids to grow up as soldiers, priests or some kind of legislator or business owner. I don’t want to do any of those things.”

                @beth-torres

Finally answering these may have fixed my writing block.

Hey Darby! Cool name! I’m Beth. Are you okay with me asking a few questions?

“Oh, thank you! Sure. Are you a journalist?”

What kind of activities are you good at? Do you prefer ones that take up more brain energy or physical energy?

“I don’t think I have a preference. I like both. I work for the post service, so I get to run all around town delivering mail, which I very much enjoy. And on Thursday evenings I go visit ol’ Mr. Fox and we smoke and play chess. As for what I’m good at, there isn’t much. I’m decent at my job, I suppose.”

Is there anything in your world that you’d change when it comes to socialization? Such as how people are greeted or what is considered rude or polite?

“No, not really… Sometimes people seem hesitant to start conversations or friendships out of politeness and fear of being intrusive. I might change that.”

What are your parents like, if you know?

“They’re good folks. They live away from the city, so I don’t get to visit quite as often as I’d like.”

When you hear a word, do you simply think of the word as it is, or does a certain scene or color (or maybe something else) come to mind?

“Depends on the word. I suppose I just think of it like it is. Do you have an example?”

What’s your favorite color, and is there a specific shade of it that you like?

“I like green. Or blue. Probably lighter shades of both.”

A pet dragon?? That’s so cool! How big is it? What does it look like when it’s not disguised?

Also, is T’kayon a country or a city?

                    @loopylin

Hii! I’m sorry, it’s been a while. I suddenly got busy with extra school stuff, but I hope to reply faster when summer comes.

“Oh, thank you! Sure. Are you a journalist?”

Hmm, I suppose I’m being a journalist for this particular moment. Have you ever been interviewed by a journalist, at any time other than now?

“Depends on the word. I suppose I just think of it like it is. Do you have an example?”

Sure! My first thought was the word “dreamlike,” as I believe there could be varying opinions on what fits in that category.

Another question, if that is alright. What is your city like (how advanced is it in technology, architecture, etc.)? How long have you been there?

Everett stares absently for a moment before replying. “He’s approximately the size of a seven story building, if each story is fifteen feet in height. He’s spiky and white, and his teeth are crooked. And the horns on his head… they are also crooked.”

What do you want to do when you grow up? Supposing there wasn’t anyone to tell you what they expect of you.

“I’d consider a job in archaeology, but little archaeological work is done in T’kayon. The T’kayons believe they’ve discovered everything, yet apparently their claim in knowing ‘everything’ excludes the gigantic dragon cave I found under them.”

Also, is T’kayon a country or a city?

                      It’s a country!

Sorry, I wasn’t sure if this question was a part of the interview lol.
