Corvina
What a mess…
Corvina stared at the chaos as Vesper lunged straight into it, sprouting curious looks from everyone around.
None knew if he was friend or foe, but seeing as he was obviously attacking the hounds and soldiers…most seemed to quickly realized he was a friend.
But Corvina was not.
Her eyes quickly spotted three familiar faces amongst the crowd.
And a furry fox.
She hissed inwardly, cursing herself for having allowed herself to be dragged into this.
She couldn’t be revealed!
Then again…
Whatever was happening…
Might actually work for her good.
After all…
Her entire reason for being here was to stop Arabella…
And…
Well…
Whoever was doing this, seemed to have that job pretty well covered…
She watched silently, stepping back, away from the chaos, her fingers moving in silent skill as the shadows around her swarmed.
Yes…she’d just silently slip away…
Allow this battle to do her job for her…
And whatever was left unfinished, she’d swoop in and take care of.
For now, however.
She couldn’t….wouldn’t, let herself be seen.
And so…slowly, enveloping herself in the shadows, Corvina…disappeared.
Transformed into a simple Raven, a bird no one would pay any attention to.
And without another word, and anyone to notice, she flew away.

#ProtectSebAlso…y’all I’m so excited to take my charries out then poof them back in as older (cuz then I bring in my OTHER charries!!! AHHHHH!!! And YALL CAN MEET THEM TOO!!!) (well ur charries cuz you’ve technically done met them)
but also cuz they need some development because I haven’t gotten to write with them really.
ESPECIALLY LUNA! Luna needs the most development out of them all. Like…I struggle with her sooo much.
but im all excited about Paxton…and Grimm!! And just how different my other charries will be older!
I mean not just horribly different but at least a bit, ya know? Like their character arcs are obviously progressing! (For November it’s…a bit of a negative Arc until the end…so he’s not really getting better.
he’s getting worse….so be prepared heh….)
But Ara is a positive. She’s more confident and more of a leader. And Lyn is still herself though she is beginning to question her destiny now, and might not be quite as Naive.
it’s just gonna be fun, and honestly their older selves need development too sooooo XD I’m just excited!! And it’ll give me a chance to have new RP stories so it won’t be so slow XD

Somehow our charries have to succeed… do any of your characters have a trick up their sleeves? Like a dog whistle?

All righty! Let’s get this end started.
Also, I think I might poof Viktor too, because then I could add in Reúven, and I really want to see those two together. Plus, I realized that I do need to develop the later version of him.
But then again, I COULD ADD ALWIN INSTEAD. And if I added him, I’d have to add William, and Winifrith. OH, and Percy! Poor November might like a break from the teasing… Although if Percy discovered that he liked Ara…. Well, at least if William’s there Percy might be contained. XD
He’s just one of those friends. (This would be about the time Alwin and William are in a Squirey. And about a year after Alwin met Wini, and they’re all good friends. XD) (okay, it’s my ONE romantic subplot and I can’t help but love it.)
As for Ocran, he would probably disappear, after it was certain that the battle wasn’t going right. Then, of course he’d be more angry than ever before, but that’s okay, because we’re getting out of here!

Thank the Lord, November and Riker had appeared in time to rescue Arabella and sweet Naja and the rest. Alyona turned to find her brother.
Where was Viktor? She couldn’t see him.
Then she realized she was looking straight at him. He was so dirty, so desperate. So dangerous.
She bit back a cry and began raining stones on any soldier that came too close.
Not her brother.
The fight went on, twisting away from them before coming back. She saw a tall man storming orders from the far wall like some sort if war king. He looked her way. Viktor’s way with malice in his eyes.
He was directing another attack. He was going to…
She scowled and spun her sling.
Viktor
Heart pounding. Blood up. The world around him spun in deadly chaos, with the only compass being his sister’s presence now behind him. In a doorway, out of the direct fighting. Out of the nightmare.
‘Forget this.’ he dropped his sling and drew his sword, a much better weapon for close combat.
His movements were clumsy compared to the fluid instinct of a trained soldier, but in matters of life and death, clumsy would do, if it was quick.
So he was quick.
Dart forward; dance back. Thrust up. Block. Parry. Avoid.
The man before him fell, whether from a blow of Viktor’s or from some other force, Viktor didn’t know. He didn’t think.
He fought. For family and friends, he fought. For child and helpless, he fought. For his own life: he fought. And fought hard.
Then a horn blew. A hard, brassy sound, quick and sharp.
And as if in response to a premeditated signal, the man before him became suddenly untouchable. Viktor retreated desperately, the fight becoming too much. The sweat fell into his eyes, and his breath shook uncontrollably.
And then, as quickly as it had begun, it was all over. He stood there, his hands on his knees and his eyes wide.
It was… Over. And he was… Alive. Actually alive.
He searched the room around him. A mess of injury met his eyes.
Then a girl was before him, calling his name before he could accidentally defend himself. He blinked.
“Alya!”
She buried her face in his shoulder, locking him in a hug.
Ocran
Of all things to happen, these spies had to overcome his men. Ocran spat.
Impossible.
He had lost track of the youth, but he hoped him dead with all his might. The boy had looked too… Ocran chewed on the word, but decided not to finish.
It was all impossible.
But it was not over.
He had called his men to fight and break free. Now he would gather his whole army and see what the little group of haughty beggars held up against a real force.
He would win. He always did.
The little things didn’t matter after the war was won.
He rubbed a bruise on his head and watched as his men gathered again.

“Zayne…” Wayne hissed.
“What? We have to be friendly…” Zayne turned back to the girls. “Would you two like to accompany us?”
