I’ve only read Little Women so far. I really should read the others. I didn’t know there was a sequal to the Eight Cousins! 😄

I don’t know if anyone here is into historical fiction besides @freedomwriter76, but I just finished reading a book by Jennifer Neilson called Words on Fire. It’s about a girl that’s one of the smugglers who smuggles book to Lithuanians, because Russia had invaded Lithuania and put a ban on Lithuanian literature. The Russians pretty much tried to destroy the nation of Lithuania, even by banning their language, but the smugglers tried to preserve that. I really enjoyed it and thought it was really good!! I really liked the theme too. Y’all should check it out! 😊

Has anyone read “Good wives” by Louisa May Alcott? I just started it and love it! It is technically the fourth little women book and takes place right as Meg gets married. I have only read the first few chapters, so dont spoil it 😀  But I would love to chat about it with anyone as I read it though!

I’ll have to check that out! I didn’t even know it existed! XD

I should probably reread Little Women anyway. 😛

(I was notified for your post, but then it doesn’t show up here. You’re new one does though.)

I’ve heard of it and I think one of my cousins really likes it. Is it good?

Well, its good and bad. The first one was great and I couldn’t wait to read the second. The second was good, the third was the similar and there are 13 total! Im on #7 now and I find they are all pretty much the same. But I would definitely give them a try!

Jennifer A. Neilson’s Hist-Fic is pretty awesome. Resistance is really good, and three of her others (A Night Divided, Lines of Courage, Behind Enemy Lines) are pretty decent. I will say that some newer stuff hasn’t match the quality of the first. Rescue was kinda a letdown, and Iceberg had a lot of rule breaking.

You will love what you spend time with.

                          Yesss!! Resistance was amazing!!!

Yeah, I can agree with that. (Even though I enjoyed both Rescue and Iceberg. Iceberg did have a lot of rule breaking, which bothered me a bit, while she didn’t have to do it, it did move the story along) I feel like the main characters started feeling like the same type of person, just with a few changes in personality.

I read the first couple books when I was in 6th grade, but then it got kinda dark and creeped me out too much so I stopped. XD

I read a night divided and words on fire!! They were both pretty good, you should definitely read her ascendance series if you haven’t yet!!

I’ll have to check out resistance, I don’t think I’ve read it!
