      @warrenluther04 All my stories were about animal families for, like, 1 1/2 to 2 years πŸ™‚ Yeah, we’d love to see your stories! πŸ˜€

        @dekreel Maybe the “V” was your sister’s hair? At least that’s what it looks like to me πŸ™‚

        @kaya-young
        Well I’m an aspiring filmmaker who used to not like movies… so there you go πŸ˜€

        @jenwriter17
        and everyone: I probably wrote random things now and then when I was little, but I remember in 3rd grade I had to take the Common Writing Assessment, and based off one of the prompts I wrote a story about a golden scooter that I flew around in the sky with and came back home, and it got a perfect score… heh. That was when I first started thinking about writing stories, mostly just because I was good at it.

        In the next few years I also wrote about fairies (modeled after the Rainbow Magic series) and a fantasy adventure idea based off me and my friends having superpowers and fighting villains that were based off the guys in my class πŸ˜› So I suppose I started out mostly in fantasy.

        Cool! Fanfictions of what, if I may ask?

          @gh24682468999Β  I guess so. Basically I put it there to distinguish me from my sisterΒ  XD

          You can pronounce it however you want.

            @gh24682468999 (Did I do your tag correctly?) I mostly did fanfictions off of superhero series (i.e.Β Captain Awesome) and a couple of fanfics off ofΒ theΒ Biscuit series (about a dog). Oh, and in elementary school when every Friday my friend group went to the park next to the school and reenacted Star Wars with lightsaber fights I would write fanfictions about that, along withΒ Origami YodaΒ fanfictions.

            Wow. I really liked Star Wars. πŸ˜πŸ˜œπŸ˜€

              @warrenluther04 Haha πŸ™‚ I haven’t seen Star Wars yet, but I may someday. I am surrounded by Star Wars fans at my school.

                Sorry for getting back late! Animal stories are fun to write, so it makes sense that so many people do them. πŸ™‚ Well…if I can dig them out of the box they are in and scan/take pictures of them, sure! *puts on mental to-do list*

                    Super sorry for making you faint! xD I probably will someday, but I’m afraid it’s not on my list at the moment. (To be honest, I’m not really into science fiction, but we shall see).

                      @dekreel
                      your pictures remind me of a “series” I did when I was about seven or eight. It was like a cartoon, where I drew stick figures and those little dialogue bubbles for when they talked… πŸ˜›

                      My first story was called “The Hotel That Burned Down.” I was six, and my handwriting was so terrible that I had to dictate it to my mom. Basically, it was about a hotel with smokestacks that were too close together, so it burned down. Then the people built a new one with smokestacks farther apart. The end XD

                      And I don’t know why the hotel had smokestacks XD

                        @audrey-caylinΒ  HAHA! That sounds like an amazing story X’D

                        Yeah, I did similar things to you. Stick people. Except there was no dialogue. So I had to narrate everything that they said or else it wouldn’t make sense XD

                        You can pronounce it however you want.

                          When I was little, I did the same thing with my mom! I dictated the stories and she wrote them down for me.

                          Most of my stories when I was young were about giants, princesses, and mermaids. I found a cute short story I wrote when I was a bit older (8) that I might post here. πŸ˜‰

                              @jenwriter17 This is the cutest discussion XD All of these stories sound so cool!

                              My first pieces of creative writing were actually poems (or songs), not stories, actually, starting from around five or six years old. I would include them in my diaries randomly, whenever I thought of them, and I would say something like, “Here’s a poem” as if I were giving it to my diary as a present. This is the first one I found, a limerick, that I wrote around six years old, before I really understood the concept of rhythm:

                              There once was a dog named Ned

                              Who barked before going to bed

                              Then an old lady said, “Don’t bark, God forbid!”

                              But keep on barking naughty Ned did.

                              Then Ned thought & woofed instead.

                              Then when I was eight or nine and started writing stories, they became strangely serious and absurd. I found one story about a girl who makes friends with an orphan girl, and it is painfully obvious that I did no research at all for that XP Then there are a few stories that aren’t stories at all —they’re just info dumps called “Chapter 1” that I never continued πŸ˜›

                              Read to explore worlds, write to create them.

                                  @jenwriter17 I filled up notebooks with drawings… I have a tub of them somewhere.
                                  One is about a farmer who lived in a cave. Dug to make it bigger. Then they moved to a farm and had a moss jacket. Also lots of chickens. πŸ˜›
                                  I’m going to find them. Maybe pictures… No promises

                                  @dekreel
                                  My stories weren’t very original either. I liked repeated them, but changing certain things. Escepially with my stuffed animals. Tyrant government play by three animals (I didn’t want to many of them evil so I choose I plot that would make up for this.) Lots of escaping walled enclosures and going and hiding in the mountains. [my bed πŸ˜› ]
                                  That’s basically my stuffed animals stories.
