@warrenluther04 All my stories were about animal families for, like, 1 1/2 to 2 years π Yeah, we’d love to see your stories! π

www.jennaterese.comMarch 9, 2018 at 9:56 pm #66087@dekreel Maybe the “V” was your sister’s hair? At least that’s what it looks like to me π
@kaya-young Well I’m an aspiring filmmaker who used to not like movies… so there you go π
@jenwriter17 and everyone: I probably wrote random things now and then when I was little, but I remember in 3rd grade I had to take the Common Writing Assessment, and based off one of the prompts I wrote a story about a golden scooter that I flew around in the sky with and came back home, and it got a perfect score… heh. That was when I first started thinking about writing stories, mostly just because I was good at it.In the next few years I also wrote about fairies (modeled after the Rainbow Magic series) and a fantasy adventure idea based off me and my friends having superpowers and fighting villains that were based off the guys in my class π So I suppose I started out mostly in fantasy.
@warrenluther04 Cool! Fanfictions of what, if I may ask?It's g-h, 2-4-6-8 twice, three 9's
literatureforthelight.wordpress.comMarch 9, 2018 at 10:00 pm #66088@gh24682468999Β I guess so. Basically I put it there to distinguish me from my sisterΒ XD
You can pronounce it however you want.
March 10, 2018 at 2:33 pm #66219@gh24682468999 (Did I do your tag correctly?) I mostly did fanfictions off of superhero series (i.e.Β Captain Awesome) and a couple of fanfics off ofΒ theΒ Biscuit series (about a dog). Oh, and in elementary school when every Friday my friend group went to the park next to the school and reenacted Star Wars with lightsaber fights I would write fanfictions about that, along withΒ Origami YodaΒ fanfictions.
Wow. I really liked Star Wars. πππ

@jenwriter17 Sorry for getting back late! Animal stories are fun to write, so it makes sense that so many people do them. π Well…if I can dig them out of the box they are in and scan/take pictures of them, sure! *puts on mental to-do list*Kapeefer 'Till We're Old and Grey!
ENFJ-T ... I think (haven't taken the quiz in awhile)March 11, 2018 at 9:29 pm #66371@gh24682468999 sounds like you were a very creative young writer (still are I bet!) π
@warrenluther04 cool, looking forward to pictures! πI'm a Kapeefer 'TIL WE'RE OLD AND GREY!
www.jennaterese.comMarch 11, 2018 at 9:44 pm #66376@jenwriter17 Thanks π
@warrenluther04 Super sorry for making you faint! xD I probably will someday, but I’m afraid it’s not on my list at the moment. (To be honest, I’m not really into science fiction, but we shall see). It's g-h, 2-4-6-8 twice, three 9's
literatureforthelight.wordpress.comMarch 11, 2018 at 10:47 pm #66383@jenwriter17 Awww, the bees are cute XD This is such a cool thread, btw!
@dekreel your pictures remind me of a “series” I did when I was about seven or eight. It was like a cartoon, where I drew stick figures and those little dialogue bubbles for when they talked… πMy first story was called “The Hotel That Burned Down.” I was six, and my handwriting was so terrible that I had to dictate it to my mom. Basically, it was about a hotel with smokestacks that were too close together, so it burned down. Then the people built a new one with smokestacks farther apart. The end XD
And I don’t know why the hotel had smokestacks XD
March 11, 2018 at 10:58 pm #66387@audrey-caylinΒ HAHA! That sounds like an amazing story X’D
Yeah, I did similar things to you. Stick people. Except there was no dialogue. So I had to narrate everything that they said or else it wouldn’t make sense XD
You can pronounce it however you want.
March 12, 2018 at 12:36 am #66394Yes, I am stalking this topic. *smirk*
@audrey-caylin When I was little, I did the same thing with my mom! I dictated the stories and she wrote them down for me.Most of my stories when I was young were about giants, princesses, and mermaids. I found a cute short story I wrote when I was a bit older (8) that I might post here. π

March 12, 2018 at 12:41 pm #66405@jenwriter17 This is the cutest discussion XD All of these stories sound so cool!
My first pieces of creative writing were actually poems (or songs), not stories, actually, starting from around five or six years old. I would include them in my diaries randomly, whenever I thought of them, and I would say something like, “Here’s a poem” as if I were giving it to my diary as a present. This is the first one I found, a limerick, that I wrote around six years old, before I really understood the concept of rhythm:
There once was a dog named Ned
Who barked before going to bed
Then an old lady said, “Don’t bark, God forbid!”
But keep on barking naughty Ned did.
Then Ned thought & woofed instead.
Then when I was eight or nine and started writing stories, they became strangely serious and absurd. I found one story about a girl who makes friends with an orphan girl, and it is painfully obvious that I did no research at all for that XP Then there are a few stories that aren’t stories at all —they’re just info dumps called “Chapter 1” that I never continued π
Read to explore worlds, write to create them.
March 12, 2018 at 1:12 pm #66409@audrey-cayling thanks! that sounds like a cool story π
@ariella-newheart yes, post it!!!
@sleepwalkingmk That poem is so cute! π
@jane-maree thanks! πI'm a Kapeefer 'TIL WE'RE OLD AND GREY!
www.jennaterese.comMarch 14, 2018 at 10:14 pm #66780@jenwriter17 I filled up notebooks with drawings… I have a tub of them somewhere.
One is about a farmer who lived in a cave. Dug to make it bigger. Then they moved to a farm and had a moss jacket. Also lots of chickens. π
I’m going to find them. Maybe pictures… No promises
@dekreel My stories weren’t very original either. I liked repeated them, but changing certain things. Escepially with my stuffed animals. Tyrant government play by three animals (I didn’t want to many of them evil so I choose I plot that would make up for this.) Lots of escaping walled enclosures and going and hiding in the mountains. [my bed π ]
That’s basically my stuffed animals stories.IMMA KAPEEFER! Til we're old and gray!
