Dragon stuff was pretty much all I did lol
Well, actually, nvm, here’s Soldier sitting in a nest made of a blanket and a few sticks. No idea why.

August 30, 2025 at 4:34 pm #205526I might’ve posted this one before but here’s more. Chell from Portal on the right, and a Half-Life fanmade character of mine on the left. (He’s her brother.)
I don’t think added backgrounds for either yet (they’re in two different places) but I want to.

August 30, 2025 at 4:34 pm #205527You’re getting more relaxed with your poses and it’s really paying off. :] I like the Razorwhip but also the snake dragon, since its fins look like they are translucent. Maybe they’re supposed to be white, but I like them anyway.
Also I have been keeping up with your YouTube channel! That last animation you posted was very long. Must have taken weeks…

August 30, 2025 at 4:38 pm #205529Ugh, it did.
@whalekeeper Thanks! The fins can change, so they probably could be both at different times. Also yes, that animation took almost 30 hours, working 2-3 hours per day for 2 weeks. What did you think of it?
I might do more after I get off from my animation break (deserved after that whole ordeal lol)

August 30, 2025 at 4:39 pm #205530Those look good!! ?? The dragons look really cool—and that Toothless pic is so cute lolol!!
??
I’m also trying to draw in a more exaggerated animated style without making it too exaggerated, and I had to use a reference for the pose (full disclaimer).
Ah, interesting.
But it ended up looking very different from the reference, […]
That’s real…

And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who couldn't hear the music
August 30, 2025 at 4:44 pm #205537@grcr Thanks!!
@ellette-giselle thank you! I had fun drawing the nest one, it’s so goofy."When in doubt, eat cheese crackers."-me to my charries who don't even know about cheese crackers

I thought it was good! I know nothing about using 3d models, but that sounds like an accurate amount of work, lol.
That’s real…
Yeah. And when you’re drawing your own characters instead of the people in the reference, eventually you have to take control of what it looks like.

August 30, 2025 at 4:45 pm #205539August 30, 2025 at 4:46 pm #205541@whalekeeper thank you! I think I have a video that explains how I do it.

September 1, 2025 at 2:49 pm #205597So, I was going to draw but couldn’t find a good enough reference.
Then I remembered I can literally just make whatever I want in Hero Forge and pose it (so long as it’s humanoid, to make animals and stuff I’d have to pay and I have no reason or want to do that). Turns out you can have two characters on one plate.
So I took Huntress and Sniper, imported them into a single file together, and messed around some to recreate a scene from the story me and my brother were telling each other last night, in preparation to draw it.
Mind you, I still need to fix some stuff. Sniper’s supposed to look like he’s limping but the poser for some reason doesn’t move legs unless I use a default pose and not a custom one. So his legs are weirdly posed for now.

September 1, 2025 at 2:53 pm #205598Huntress’s legs are moved cause the pose I started with had her looking like she was walking.
I feel like at least 10 minutes of it all was making Sniper look as beat up as possible without making it TOO bloody. (He has a particularly nasty wound on the other side of his face.) They were on a mission and got attacked and separated. She was knocked out for a while, and upon waking up started searching for him; one of their allies found him getting tortured and brought him to her.

They’re so cute! I love the old French details. He’s so… Elegant, and she’s just sweet with a touch of awkward.
Also, Since I’m in the middle of another historical apparel project, they strike a special cord, lol. Regency stays are a pain to draft, forget “simplicity.” Anyway, so cute. Love them.
Aww, they’re such cool kids. Baylor looks like a kid in my sister’s Sunday school class. ❤️
They’re all very well done, though. It’s such fun to mix up timelines!
You have listened to fears, child. Come, let me breathe on you... Are you brave again? -Aslan
September 3, 2025 at 11:37 am #205718Dragons! Always, always fun. 🙂
Although poor Sniper. XD You did a good job finding a balance though.
