My sister and I don’t think he’s going to excuse Victum’s actions and we will get a redemption arc instead, but we will see. The way she puts it, ‘Victum is bad, and his actions aren’t justified, but after that, I really don’t want things to go badly for him because I now understand him!’
This! It drives me crazy how much of the fandom would disagree though, it seems like most of them are rooting for victim at this point. Like, no people, what are you doing, he’s not a hero!

Well, first off, I was really annoyed by the time I got to it. Just the whole minecraft stuff was driving me out of my mind. I felt like with that one he was relying more on the novelty of having his stick figures in a video game then his actual story.
I liked Purple and The King’s story, and I knew at once that the boy looking for a father and the king looking for a son would end up clicking in the end. Their stories were pretty good, I just wish it had been more story-based and less “we’re in a video game, isn’t that funny and cool!”

Can’t say I agree. But maybe that’s cause I actually play Minecraft and know it inside and out. You said before you don’t play video games, so you might be pretty lost at a lot of the stuff.
That is one disadvantage of AvM–that you kinda have to know the game in order to have the best experience.

well, one thing, it made me decide I NEVER would want to ever play minecraft. That game would bore me out of my mind. XD

The first two seasons are definitely not as good, but they’re also just supposed to be fun and developing the character’s personalities. They’re not intended to be as reliant on story.
If you haven’t ever played Minecraft I definitely see how you might not have liked the first two (or fourth) seasons.

Guess sandbox games aren’t your thing then. (Sandbox=doesn’t really have a set story, you do whatever you want. Minecraft is that way cause you can choose to turn on hostile enemies and fight them every night, or you can just mine around. Or just turn on “creative mode” and have access to everything without having to mine it first, and go crazy building.)
