Really sorry for the bad quality. The splotch by his mouth is not supposed to be there btw. This is my sketch so far for Baron. I’ve gone through many different poses, and was wondering for feedback, how good is this?

Well, I guess it’s a go for finalizing the sketch and then coloring it. I have a few coloring choices I’m deciding on. I might add a starry backdrop, and make his hair silver, or just do like it’s daytime. That’s why the top part of the page is devoid of anything at the moment.
Tbh, after an experience (which wasn’t that bad to the outside eye, but to me it was terrible, I wanted to be invisible) I had at CC, I was not planning on ever posting art again. Gabriel’s portrait broke that, and I’m really happy it did. No promises that I’ll consistently post art, but I will post art.

thx. That was like my 100th attempt XD. I had a mental breakdown before going to rowing today because I was stressed from the botched sketches and I was running late (I’m never late, I woke up at 4am for weeks every Wednesday so I could be ready extra early for when we left at 7am for CC). We’re all good now 🙂

You should make a photo copy of the sketch and try out the colors you have in your mind on that, and if you like it, then go for it, but if not, you have the backup. That’s what I always do. I never color the original, I like to keep a backup. Plus, colored pencils tend to smear when mixed with graphite.
