Oh goodness that’s very good, well done!! You’re getting so much better every day, I love it. What makes this piece funny to me is that Barnes’ mask is similarly a default mask, just without the colored symbols and with a different face shape. XD Anyway, slay. :]

The inspiration for the mask came from actually an anime called Demon Slayer. Some of the characters wear Kitsune masks, and since I first saw reference pictures and such (since I look into amines for the reference photos), I thought the masks looked neat. A few days ago, I drew a sketch of no one in particular, then drew another sketch of the same person and added my own mask to it. From there the concept grew. He actually has a similar character creation story to Baron.

Boom, I knew you were inspired by anime for the mask! I know very little about Kitsune or anime besides the classic Ghibli. XD And I can’t remember where I got the mask idea myself; it was probably just a product of deciding what my character would wear. Do you watch Demon Slayer?

I have seen some stuff. It looks like it has a cool concept to it, but it also seems pretty dark, since the “demons” were once people. It also can get bloody, like a lot of animes.
I don’t know much about kitsune, I just googled what type of mask the demon slayer characters sometimes wear, and from there I gathered that kitsune are fox creatures from Japanese mythology, hence why kitsune masks always have ears.

Oh, and the anime style for Gabriel’s character design is from a video game called Wuthering Waves. I don’t play it, but I saw a trailer for it on YouTube a while ago, and like the style. Gabriel’s pose and much of his character design came from a character named Jiyun.

That drawing is 15 years of practice being put into one piece of art. I’ve been drawing since I could first hold a crayon (our poor walls lol). You’ll get there ?
So you’re saying if I time travel 15 years into the future, I’ll be amazing at art too?!?!?!?! ?? I just need to spend the next 20 years of my life inventing time travel! Then I can be amazing at art!!!!!!!!
It took 7+ hours for the entire drawing, not sure how long it was for the background alone.
Don’t worry! When I make time travel you can go back in time with your picture and still have it but get those 7 hours back!

I think you should definitely write a story around him! And if you don’t feel like putting in the work of writing a whole story, you could write a short story!
