That drawing is 15 years of practice being put into one piece of art. I’ve been drawing since I could first hold a crayon (our poor walls lol). You’ll get there 🙂
I imagine that alone took FOREVER!!!!
It took 7+ hours for the entire drawing, not sure how long it was for the background alone.

He’s a new fantasy character. He was born and grew up on an isolated island country that has been plagued by monsters for the past over 100 years. Back when the monster appeared and became a problem, a man appeared wearing a white mask with a rune over the left eye (as you can see on the drawing, though the rest of the symbols were not added yet to the mask). He fought the monsters, protecting the people of the country as best he could. He came to be known as simply the Protector. Eventually, when his prime of youth faded, so that he no longer was fit to fight the monsters, he trained and passed on the mask to another. The simple star under the right eye of the mask was added as the symbol of the Second Protector. It became a tradition, the mask being passed down and a new symbol added: the Third Protector added the circles, the Fourth added the broken chains, and finally, the Fifth added the flower. The Fifth Protector is Gabriel Mai.
He keeps his identity as the Fifth Protector hidden like the Protector’s before him, wearing the mask when he fights the monsters, but appearing as a normal citizen at other times. He’s a secretive man, who can answer questions while revealing nothing at the same time. Nothing seems to faze him, and those around him are often startled by how calm he always appears to be.
I’ve thought about entering him in an rp, but the only really active rp at the moment is the Fantasy/Modern School RP, and he would not fit in there. So maybe I’ll add him to Character Interviews or something since he needs to be fleshed out a little more.

That’s such a cool character concept! Reminds me a little of the Avatar.
Maybe we could resurrect one of the old role plays? Or maybe I could start a new one. I had an idea of making one that’s just a giant labyrinth with monsters and things hiding inside. People don’t seem to be very active rn though so maybe I should wait.
