@theshadow thank you!
Ooh, I really love the idea of Old Hunter looking kinda like Sniper but obviously older and with scars or something. Maybe I’ll add a part about how Huntress feels whenever she looks at him, how it stings that they look so much alike yet the one who loves her is dead, and the other remains alive to torment her.
(why do I write weirdly eloquent things like that? lol)
@dekreel thank you!! I remember you from the last couple times you’ve popped up.Gerald handled that. You don’t question Gerald. (if you know you know)
February 12, 2025 at 4:39 pm #197666Your welcome, and that would be so cool, it would add even more depth to Huntress and that point in the story.

February 13, 2025 at 4:14 pm #197697@theshadow here ya go, I finished the illustration a day or two ago!

Old Hunter is based off a copperhead snake! He has a scar cutting under his right eye, across his nose, and then just stopping over his left one, and probably a couple smaller scars on the left side of his face. I tried to make him look Sniper-like but still be his own character. I also really like the camo pattern I gave his clothes.
Honestly, his character design is too good to only appear in two chapters and then get headshot. I might write something else with him in it someday.
Funny story, my dad was like “Wait is he gonna torture her?! Why does he have a knife??” when I showed it to him, but then I explained that this was a villain character and he was like “oh, makes sense.”

February 13, 2025 at 4:41 pm #197698Got back into drawing dragon-ified Star Wars characters. Here’s Grand Admiral Thrawn!
He’s based off the Deadly Nadder and Whispering Death dragons from How to Train Your Dragon. Whisperchiss (I often name my alien dragon species basing off a combination of the HTTYD dragon species name and the Star Wars alien’s name) are tunneling dragons and therefore L O N G B O I S, so those of you who were about to point out that the proportions aren’t right, don’t worry, that was kinda intentional.
I used the practice I’d gotten drawing Argonite/Drachenheul digitigrade feet to design his talons, which are supposed to be different from most similar dragons’.
