Should I do one for Davan? (Viktor’s older brother who was stillborn) Grayson’s collage is making me think of him.

And because it also gave me random inspiration, here’s a bit from my little side stories.

 “We’ll name him Davan.” Amicai said softly, his voice crushed in grief. “Because he is a gift.”

He pulled Edria close, weak and pale, streaked with tears. He held her and whispered into her hair, “The Lord gives and the Lord takes away.”

Then he stopped, unable to say the next words, and they sat in silence for a minute, the only sounds being Edria’s sodden breath, and the wind blowing by the empty window.

Then quietly, almost inaudibly, he heard her speak.

“Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

Okay, that’ll probably never get in the actual book, but hey, why not share it here?

By wasting way too much time on Pinterest *winks* Verity was the most fun….I just kept typing in cute redheaded girl, 10 year old readhead, etc etc and finding a ton of pics and being like THERE SHE IS AGAIN!! XD (And yeah, Kerwin has a pretty traumatic past along with Maddock – his brother – but Maddock tends to hide it more, so it really shows most in Kerwin)

Yup, the best kind of procrastination right there – looking up the perfect charrie face claim when really I should be writing about said character. XD (Agh!! *hugs just Kerwin b/c Maddock won’t let me hug him too* It’s gonna be sad…. especially b/c that’s the story where yours truly has to kill someone and she’s never done that to anyone except villains!!!!)
