Soooo…I’ve been trying to work out the Sequel for my book, though it’s WAYYYY off in the future, and figured out that, well, The Bois may have a sequel book of their own! 😍 That’s where Reuben will lose his arm, the Korean war, all that stuff, and, well…I figured out that Wolfgang will be struggling with a couple things of his own…😭
First off, his family board, because I wanna share it, and then…a SCENE!!!! 🤩
And the scene:
Ryu giggled as he pushed his toy train along on the floor.
Wolfgang sat on the couch, elbows on his knees, watching his son play.
He was set to go to the hospital again today, but Mika was taking him today instead of Wolfgang.
Ryu had to go constantly.
Heels clicked against the floor, and Wolfgang’s gaze rose.
Mika stepped into the small apartment living room, already dressed to go out, not even looking at him. “Ryu, baby, it’s time to go.”
Ryu smiled brightly and went over to her, holding his arms up.
She crouched down, slipping his small coat onto him, smiling and speaking quiet Japanese.
Wolfgang stood.
Mika finished buttoning Ryu’s coat and grabbed his shoes, getting him to sit down on the floor.
“I guess you’re leaving to go to the hospital? I thought the appointment wasn’t for another few hours-“
“It isn’t for another few hours. But I thought Ryu needed a walk. I certainly do.”
“I can take him if you’d-“
Mika turned to him, lifting Ryu, now wearing shoes, onto her hip. “I’d rather you not. I’ll take him.”
Wolfgang blinked. “I-I can come with both of you, if you’d like.”
He wanted to spend time with his son before he had to leave for Korea.
Mika shook her head. “I’d prefer if you didn’t. Not today.”
Wolfgang slowly nodded.
Not that he wanted to walk with her much anyways…he just wanted to spend time with his son.
Mika came over. She stretched a little to kiss him. Their lips met.
But the kiss was quick, brief…devoid of love.
She pulled away just as fast as she had come, lifting Ryu higher on her hip, placing a sun hat on her head. “Say goodbye to Daddy, Ryu. We’re going for a small walk, then we’ll go see the nice doctors, how does that sound?”
Ryu smiled and waved, his hand opening and closing and doing so again. “Bye-bye Dada!”
Mika turned on her heel. Grabbed the door handle.
“Mika, wait.”
She turned back around. Raised an eyebrow. “What?”
Wolfgang stepped closer, slightly looking down to meet his wife’s eyes. “I want to spend time with Ryu before I ship out for Korea, and-“
“But not me, obviously. You went with him last time, Wolfgang, so I’ll take him. Besides, maybe you should rest before you have to leave.”
“You don’t want me to be around you and you don’t want me to be around our son either, do you!?”
Ryu glanced between the two of them, holding his toy train tighter.
“Maybe I do!” Mika yelled, tears coursing down her cheeks, holding Ryu closer to her body.
Wolfgang groaned. “Why!? Why can’t I be around my own son!?”
Mika merely shook her head, turning away.
Wolfgang grabbed her arm. “What do you want, Mika, huh? What do you want?”
Mika pulled away from his grip, facing him, angry flaring in both of their eyes, replacing the love that was once there. “I want a divorce.”
Sooo…yeah…and the really bad thing is that Wolfgang’s brothers don’t know about his marriage troubles and thus can’t help him, all because he refuses to tell anyone…but…heh…everyone finds out at some point somehow… 😅😬

He’s probably almost 3 years old. ❤️ I haven’t completely decided on what EXACTLY, but he has some kind of health issue/disease that makes him have to go to the hospital often. 😭

Nope, because she’s Japanese-American, actually!!! She was born in Japan though, but her parents immigrated when she was little, but she grew up in a very Japanese home. ❤️

Cool! Thanks, I mean I can’t really control it lol, back when I used to go to public school, there was like this ‘everything Japanese is cool’ fad that went around (brought on by anime I suppose) and I would sometimes get people saying wooaaah that’s so cool just because I was part Japanese XD
