Hi! I’m hybridlore, a Christian homeschooled teen girl and writer. I LOVE reading and I mostly write science fiction/fantasy/dystopian/whatever idea pops into my head. I’m about to be a sophomore in high school and I love God, art and drawing, and playing my violin 😊. I’m excited to meet all of you and I would love to beta read/give feedback on any of your writing!

I’m Solfyre! I’m a homeschooler, too, about to go into highschool! 🎉 (Next week, I think. A lot of us are homeschoolers here on KP, so you’ll probably get a lot of that XD) Anyway, it’s awesome that you play violin! I can play some cello and ukelele and piano, but I mostly play guitar. I’m mostly a fantasy writer, but weirdly recently my new WIP has been mostly sci-fi with fantasy mixed in. (I kind of have no idea what I’m doing with it, I kind of surprised myself, lol)
Alright, well, enough about me! Now for the newbie questions! 😃

I kind of stalked you guys before joining, so I actually read your WIP. It’s amazing! I kept coming back to see if you added to it.😆
Now for the questions:
Hmm, I don’t have a WIP currently, but I’m trying to come up with an idea so I can start. I’m sort of new at writing (I used to, and then I stopped) so I’ve started only a couple stories since then. I tried for the monthly picture prompt but ended up not finishing it lol.
Probably Katrin, an orphaned street thief (I know it’s cliche xD) who ends up in the middle of a heist to assassinate the leader of her colony. She only has a few chapters tho.
Favorite weapon? I think a bow (Katniss lol), daggers, or some kind of futuristic … lightsaber gun.
A dragon or a phoenix.

That’s cool! Yeah, I’m on the opposite side, I probably have too many WIPs… I just can’t seem to focus on one, but I’m trying to work on that, lol.
Katrin sounds cool! XD Yeah, cliche isn’t always a bad thing though. (I could totally be biased because I have a few orphaned street thieves myself 😉)
Bows, yeesss! (I used to shoot a bow and arrow, but we moved a month ago and, well… I wanna get back to it, tho) Any of that medieval weapon stuff for me! Swords, bows, daggers. (If you noticed I managed to fit some medieval weapons into my sci-fi story… I ended up having to make a law in the book to justify it XD And yet somehow a bow hasn’t made it in yet… I will fix that. *scrambles to write scene*)
Dragons are my absolute favorites! Awesome! And phoenixes are my second. I couldn’t even tell you how many failed WIPs I’ve had of phoenixes… I just can’t seem to write about them, at least not well. Dragons, tho, I can do, lol.

Yes exactly! I have tons of ideas, but it’s hard to narrow it down. And I also have trouble focusing, lol. How do you reply to part of a message? I’ve seen it done, but I have no clue how to do it xD

How do you reply to part of a message? I’ve seen it done, but I have no clue how to do it xD
1. You copy the text you want to reply to (press control or command key, and while you’re holding it down type c)
2. Scroll down to the type a comment section.
3. On said type a comment section, there will be a bar that does things like: bolded text, italicized text,strikethrough, etc. Once you find it, you should see a quotation mark button between the italicized text button and the strikethrough button.
4. Press the quotation marks. (now, when you’re typing the comment it won’t look like it’s done anything except indent, but trust me, it works when you send the comment)
5. Paste the text you copied. (hold down command or control key and press v)
6. Add anything else you want to to the comment.

Oh I wanna read the Hunger Games, all my friends talk about it a lot. While I live under mom’s roof she’s not gonna let me read them tho. Which I’m ok with and understand 👍 I’ll just have to wait a little longer XD

Yeah, some of my friends are not allowed to read them too, which I understand. The only good one is the first one, and the prequel (which the movie is about to come out for) is super dark and depressing. What are your favorite books/serieses? (Lol, spell check says that’s not a word. I think it’s right)
