I read that Mark Hamill and the other original cast members were on a workout regimen. So.. I guess Luke Skywalker will be just a bit slimmed down for the show this December.
But I did see this featurette with J. J. Abrams in it. He was talking about bringing the old cast back and killing them off in the movies before, as he said it, “They die…[Read more]

Alright, what exactly would you like me to check out? (I’m too busy with school to look through everything, heh heh….)

I don’t really like Leia or her actor very much.

I think that it’s definitely the EASY way out to make Leia die in this one. The only thing is “how”. I mean, she wasn’t SUPPOSED to so that means they might have to edit out certain things in order for her death to make sense. That or she’s going to come back with CGI. Though they might not be so bold as to do that…

I don’t think Kylo Ren is going to blow up his mom. (Not in that scene anyways)
They’re just playing on the fact that Carrie Fisher is dead and that Han Solo is too. They WANT you to think Kylo Ren is on a kill-your-parents streak. That’s how they make you want to watch the movie. Overdramatize things and let the audience come to their own…[Read more] -

The trailer posted in this topic was the one for the upcoming Star Wars flick, The Last Jedi. The Force Awakens was the previous movie. Episode VII.

Well, I don’t know if you’re still taking ideas, but here’s mine.
If this is kind of like a fantasy with magic monsters or spells and such I think that this could work:
There’s a thin line of mist or something, that once you cross it into the enemies borders, a drop of blood appears on your thumb/finger/(whatever you think is best) no matter…[Read more] -

@princessfoo,
well, technically Luke Skywalker got married to someone named Mara Jade.
Also, does anyone think Rey being Kylo Ren’s sister sounds weird?
Antilles’s daughter? Heh heh… So many possibilities… -

It seems even Superman has an opinion on this… (note: they’re referring to the trailer BEFORE the new one, just keep that in mind 😉 )

@daeus, yeah, I guess. But if my predictions turn out to be right then I’m not sure I want to watch it. O_O
@kate-flournoy, yeah, I’m like that. Ha..

I saw the trailer. Well, I don’t think it was anything new. And my greatest fear is that The Last Jedi is going to be Empire Strikes Back all over again. Don’t get me wrong, ESB was my favorite Episode, but if The Last Jedi is too much like it, then I could’ve just watched ESB at home.
In regards to the OTHER parts of the trailer, it looks like…[Read more]

Hello, @radically-surrendered! I’m new here too, but welcome to Kingdom Pen! I will not say it’s the “bestiest” place on earth since that’s not even a word, but this place comes pretty close! Welcome anyways!
The Magistrate approves.

I’ve got Spotify so I listen to one or two songs from each of their albums.
I really only like a few of them. -

Honestly, I never expected them to die. I was to engrossed by the actual movie, but I didn’t expect them to live either. Because if they did, where were they be in New Hope?
