@whalekeeper I watched legend of hei and I really loved it. I love the whole parent child dynamic it was so cute. I think they should make it into a series. Also the fluid animation made me happy. It reminded me of the first season of Wakfu a lot.

While I am more emotional objectively than Linus, being a girl teen and all, I do not like sharing my feelings or even physically expressing them through tears. I am an extremely private person and I do not like to look for sympathy from anybody; it makes me feel guilty. I tend to cry in private.
One side of me would like to be c…

One afternoon, Aaron was sitting on the edge of his bed, studying his Bible, when Noah stepped into the room, a Bible in his own hands. “Aaron, can I talk to you?”
“Yeah sure,” said Aaron, motioning to the bed.
Noah sat down. “Aaron, I was reading through the Bible, cover to cover as you sugge…

At last, the curfew was slowly lifted and the citizens were allowed to return to a more normal life. Never were they allowed to leave the city. The Imperial soldiers began causing problems, turning families out of their homes to accommodate the Officers. All of the large building taken to quarter…

I think Min means (and she can correct me), as long as you are writing well from a moral standpoint, sharing with your family is really up to you. You don’t have to if you don’t feel like it. ‘Character crimes’ such as an overly emotional guy are up to your personal preferences and can work for a story’s tone.
I mean yeah that too…[Read more]

Wow, it sounds like you’ve got an awesome family!
Sorry if I was projecting a bit. Despite my family being Christian, they can be really critical. Kinda like what Whaley mentioned above, over preferences for the most part. People who have it like me have to band together and support each other, so whenever I see somebody saying…[Read more]

here we go. Again, love feedback on Aaron here. I’m feeling pretty confidant, so it might all come crashing down. XD
The next evening found Aaron on his knees again. He found he was spending a lot of time that way, and he wasn’t finding any peace. Every night he cried out questions, and never o…

I think what @whalekeeper and what @mineralizedwritings has said is really good.
For me a lot of my characters draw inspiration from either A.) Historical figures/real people or B.) other fictional charcers or C.) Specific theoretical archetypes. Often times when I struggle with character personalities I return to the scraps of others which make…[Read more]

Ah yes I’m a mess but I’m here lol XD I’m going kinda insane, my mom is out of town helping my sister who has started having small seizures, so I’m trying to manage my chronic illness alone. It’s a little scary, but I’m keeping on top of everything. I’m kinda sad because it looks like I won’t be able to go to college this next year,…[Read more]

I would approach any character as an androgynous person first, and build up a semblance of personality before developing them with gender in mind. Because otherwise you might fall into your default female tropes.
Yes this

Ooh boy that’s a lot of stress 😖 *Passes you a warm cup of creamed coconut oolong tea*
I literally understand the chronic illness disrupting college, like, so much right now. My mum couldn’t teach me through high school because she’s been physically and mentally exhausted since I can remember. I am taking a gap year to catch up on lost time.…[Read more]

Oof yeah it’s like a different end of the same problem. Oh gap year? What’re your plans for that?
Yep, grief and frustration is a good description. I feel like I have to work multiple times as hard as other for the same accomplishment, and people can’t tell by looking,…[Read more]
I have no plans for my gap year XD Which is… concerning, to say the least. I might find a some programs which will give me a broader perspective on writing, art, etc. so I can choose what I want to do. Honestly if you have any suggestions for a new artist (if I got into art) finding the smoothest education route, do share on the art c…[Read more]

Hmm… I’m trying to figure it out myself XD
That’s so cool! I haven’t really watched a lot of cartoons, unless anime counts.
