Oh, that’s an interesting perspective I’ve never heard before. So you wouldn’t write about death in any circumstance because it might offend people?

But I have done enough things in my life that tell others that I’m not a Christian, I don’t need to add to the list.

If Ben, Flare, and Baron head for the river, they shouldn’t be followed too closely. The ironwalkers are jostled enough from Marcel’s strike that they have their equivalent to severe nerve damage and/or concussions. 👍

Discussion question. What is the difference between a protagonist and a hero? What qualities do you like to see in a protagonist, and do you prefer them to be a ‘hero’ or nay?

I think Marcel’s is dead; either we can say the feathers muffled it to death, or tearing off the iron kills the ironwalker because its body is sealed to the armor. This sounds rather morbid, now that I write it.

Yes. When he said “not solid,” he meant the creatures aren’t made of magically fluid iron that is completely solid throughout. They at least have separate iron plates and pieces. He ripped off at least their outer layer, and whatever is inside is yet to be discovered. (That would be Jonas’ decision.)
